Lucky show 13. My streak of new songs each show continues. Retrograde wrapped up Gigaton for me (since ctg hasn't been played), sad was amazing, surprise after surprise as they didn't force in the greatest hits songs. Couldn't ask for better entertainment.

  • Easy solution on merch.  Don't worry about buying it.  Standing in line for a t-shirt or poster as an adult?  I've been there and now see how absurd that was.  You will too one day so might as well make the decision today to let it go.
I've also been there and done that a lot. I skipped merch for my last two shows. Experiences>material things. Its just not worth my time anymore. Time is $ and I'll just spend the $ if I want something that bad. Because in time.....I've found the prices always come down anyway. In the end its just a piece of paper that will sit with the other pieces of paper in my collection.

I know nobody wants to hear about the merch again, but……
I was at St Louis show, didn’t want to miss beginning of show to buy anything.  Bought a shirt for wife about 2/3 way through show, only missed Sad.  Nothing left with date on it which I normally wouldn’t care too much but it was on our anniversary…..also just found out at show we share with Ed and Jill(didn’t know that).
That being said if anyone has anything from St Louis show with date on it they are willing to let go, I’d love to buy from you.  Sorry for the length of post.  If not, no big deal, just thought it’d be cool for my wife’s anniversary collection.

  • Wow!  That is the only word I can drum up to explain my reaction to the show.  The boys were full of energy and put out a wicked set.  I took my older brother to his first show which was pretty awesome since he is the one that introduced PJ to me back in the early 90s.  The encore set was the best concert experience that I can remember.  State-Breath-Black-Alive-Yellow Led.....sheesh!  Keep on Rocking! Thanks for the memories.

  • Another "Fun Fact":

Out of the 31 shows played in 2022 (w/ Denver pending), St. Louis was the only stop they didn't play Porch. Another unique statistic. I'm curious what made them decide to randomly skip it that particular night when it's clearly been a staple of every show in 2022. Awesome show regardless!

@deb1211 I'm looking for a STL poster if you have a lead on one or an extra available.

  • Just watching some of this awesome concert again on the YouTube and remembering how great this show was.  It may have been shorter than the last couple years but the band sounded so awesome and just seemed really happy.  Pearl Jam Effin Rocks!!!

After Wrigley I said never again on merch lines if longer than 15 people.   Sooooo much less stress.  Yes I want and love the city/venue stuff,  but ever since 06 tour,  merch, especially posters has been insanity.   PJ20 literally sold out the person before me after a 2 hour wait.,  Wrigley one same damn thing.....Moline.....Milwaukee, Vedder.  So I just told myself focus on what the fuck you are here for,  the music and friends.  When I realized I was actually not ninersfan,  it made a much more enjoyable experience.  It was the point I had to ebay stuff anyhow,  so why lug tubes for nothing....

Yes I still hit the lines butbwith aental limit of people
