  • Honestly can’t tell - is that a bad or good line?
or you can come to terms and realize
you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah...
makes much more sense to live in the present tense...

The line is massive. But most of them have been so far.

Stretching 2 sides of the building (at least).  That looks as long as the Nashville line

    Didn't open on time.
  • I’m so glad I retired from all that.
think I'll throw these pills away...
  • I usually wait in line for merchandise but not this time. Top Golf and drinks in St Louis instead. Stay cool.

I don’t understand why grown men wait in line 6 hours for a t shirt and a poster

To sell things on eBay and finance the trip. Many anyway.

This. Why do you think posters are on ebay for 200 or 300 dollars the same day. Im sure 75% of the people in line are not attending the concert tonight.

The pandemic changed my views on concerts going forward. It’s about the moments and memories of the show. Not the merchandise I collect.

I stopped by the venue around 12:30 and saw the single trailer for merch, the size of the line, the temperature and the fact that there was ZERO shade and said NOPE. But I did luck out and got a GA wristband so I get to go back at 4pm instead of waiting in line for a spot all day.

That has to be a small minority. Considering they must have sold several thousand and only a few dozen up for sale.
I don’t think there are that many just straight flippers. But i bet a lot buy 2 posters with plans to sell or trade one in the future.
I still don’t see justifying traveling to a cool city and spending the majority of the day just waiting in a line for a t shirt and a poster. Either spend the extra $100 bucks and get one later or go without.
  • I arrived at 2:00 and the merch stand still wasn’t open. Looked at the line and said fuck it and left.
1 tiny little merch stand serving hundreds of people…….no thanks.

Merch line actually used to be relatively fun if you had cool people around you and were only waiting for a couple hours (2013-2014 tours).  Hang out and talk about past shows, music, etc.

The current 5-6 hour waits are too much, especially when you are standing in the sun and heat.  I may be getting old but I would not have much left in the tank for the show after that wait.
  • We spent 5 hours in line and didn't get anything.   Need a STL poster.

  • A documentary on PJ merch lines would be interesting,  is Cameron Crowe available?

I arrived at 1210 and got inline anticipating they stand would open at one. At that point it was 1/2 way around the south side of the building.

I called it at 240, having not gotten around the south elevation or the building.

Lost my patience. I was anticipating the line to move like it did in LA...

When you tell people the stand is going to open at 1 pm and it doesn't open until almost 215, you should communicate that to people. Had I of known that was the case I would have said fuck it and not gone down there. I get it, team has been working 3 days straight and it's fucking hot outside... But communication is key here. I wouldn't have wasted my time. It's just stuff.

3 people manning the counter seems like a poor decision when you have a license to print money and a loyal fanbase.  My lesson is learned for the next time.

    Enjoy the show everyone!
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
  • Anyone know where the merch is inside the building?
think I'll throw these pills away...

My wife wouldn’t speak to me for days if I wasted the day in a line like that….maybe that is why they do it.
  • I was waiting in line for 5 hours and only got a poster. I am grateful I got a poster, but wanted a shirt that was show specific. Its real crappy to say you are going to open up a merch stand for over a thousand people at 1:00pm, yet you open it 1-1/2 hours after 1:00 and then only have 4 people working it. Then you start telling people that you are running out of things and that they can come inside when they open the gates it to buy it in there because they have held stuff back. That’s crap!!!

Nashville, they had to option to add a tip. Really???
