Camden Venue "Upgrades"

Hopefully not duplicative (I did do a search but all the upgrade responses were about tickets)

Anyone have any insight or opinion on these upgrade deals offered by the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion?

Parking and lawn chair are pretty self explanatory.  But anyone know about access to these private areas?

    I think one is a private VIP room with bathroom and AC. I was listening to WMMR and they were giving away tix for a show (Shinedown I think) there that included that.

    Looks like for an additional fee you can buy the right to sit in a lounge and buy overpriced food and drink instead of just sitting in your seat and doing same.  And maybe nicer/less crowded washrooms.  

    Value is in the eye of the beholder.  To me it would possibly make sense if it were a 6+ hour festival type event where having somewhere to be between bands would be a plus.  For a 2-2.5 hour one band show (no disrespect to Josh) I’m not sure the point.

    They do the same at all of these Live Nation outdoor venues. I've seen very few people actually in these areas when I go to the amphitheater in Tampa. They aren't places to actually sit and watch the show, but tucked away next to the bathroom in the corner to sit before the show starts.
