Please play Leash in Ottawa or Toronto in memory of Kelly Levasseur
Stone's explanation of this as a "big fuck you"...and I have felt it like that also... but I always interpreted it as: "You Are Not Alone." No matter how low or angry you could feel the opening lines always gave me hope.
I originally started this as a simple song request in 2016 as the song has always helped and meant a lot to me personally. 3 days before the Ottawa show that year my small PJ crew of 3 found out Kelly had lost a mental health struggle that few, if any, were aware of.
I wasn't sure if I would try to put this request in again... but Kelly was a huge Pearl Jam fan (as we are) and if possible in Toronto or Ottawa I'm sure many others can use a reminder that you are never alone... For his sister Treasa, Jon and Jay in honour of Kelly Levasseur from North Bay

We all used to play in bands together or on the same shows. Trying to make music with drive and purpose and a sense of togetherness.... then life moves on and you aren't able to share music and time like that..and you can feel lost. Have been there and found my way through.. and wish Kelly knew those connections made with music are always there for you.
