    It doesn’t bother me but I could see some thinking it’s a bit selfish to think their experiences deserve a song more than anyone else’s.

    While feel for the board members losses, it is like giving Eddie homework on his European trip with his family. Some of the songs requested he hasn’t played in years. Sometimes you have to be in the right mood to connect with a song. I mean, if it is a song regularly played, and they ask for a dedication to a family member who passed that is fair.  It’s all the requests for random deep cuts to be played that will likely lead to disappointment.

    To me it seems that this tour has generated very few request threads compared to past tours.

    They play what they want to play. RVM was not even played in Berlin. That alone should tell you there is no pressure on these guys to do anything that is out of their comfort zone.

    People are outraged by everything these days. Complaints, complaints about complaints, complaints about requests, so on and so forth. I just try to have fun with it all wherever I can.

    They change the vibe.  May influence the flow of the setlist in an unintended direction. Whatever. The beauty of the music is sometimes the universality of how it can touch everyone differently without assigning meaning to one person.

    Yes! Binaural is such a great album and they largely ignore it.. One single Binaural song has been played through 12 shows in Europe so far (and that was a request)
