cool thanks, they're fifty dollars plus shipping each, which is now reflected in the original post. wasn't trying to "auction" them, was trying to let folks know I'm not looking to mark the posters up from what I originally paid (which was more than $50 for each one), which seemed pretty clear in the original post but whatever. they're priced now.

Very cool of you to do so. I just didn't want your thread getting locked.

Hi, just wanted to recommend that if folks are selling they not do business with @WildFly. Hate to be this way about it but I sold the Evangeline Gallagher AP for $50 + shipping, for a total of $65. The poster sold direct from the artist (where I bought it) for $95 + shipping. It is going on EBay for $225. Gallagher signed the posters on the back with a heart and an EG. They say "signed and numbered" on her site but were not numbered. There is an example of the poster on Gallagher's site. I made it clear to @WildFly in a message before sending the poster that the signature is on the back. When they messaged saying they "could not find it" I gave further clarification. I also provided a link to Gallagher's listing to help them find the signature on the back, which is admittedly not the easiest thing to find. I am now being asked where I bought the poster, the implication being I guess that it is not, in fact, an AP.

I tried to do something nice for the community simply because I don't have room to display these, selling them at a *net loss* to myself because I hate trying to find posters I missed out on, as they're often marked up unreasonably. It's pretty shitty to be treated that way.
You have clearly taken this way overboard.  Yes you did say it was signed on the back before you sent as some artist do sign on the back.  However the the heart and EG sig was printed.  What you sent was a show edition, and not an AP.  All is good.  I have attached exactly what the artist signed and numbered looks like from Evangeline Gallagher AP sale, which is not what you sent me.

I sent the poster I received from the artist and, as I said in a message to you, happy to refund when you send back and provide tracking.

Also those photos are not from the artist’s drop. Check her site.

    This got ugly......

    Didn't have to!
That heart and EG is printed on the back of every one of these posters that was printed--AP or show.  And the images on the artist's site that you claim absolve you are stock jpeg's, not pictures of the actual product product taken by Gallagher.  Post your receipt from your purchase during Gallagher's sale.

Just remember folks, ALWAYS pay goods and services. And if something seems too good to be true--it probably is.

    1. Offered in PM and thread to refund the person who says the EG poster is not AP. If I got the wrong poster from the artist I’m more than willing to refund, have said so, and in fact issued a refund (they did pay goods and services, smart guy!) on general principle because there was an issue. Did so without them even agreeing to send back the poster.
    2. Linked to the literal artist’s post.
    3. Just sent another poster photos of the ZZ Shredder’s Digest poster, always happy to send photos when asked.
    4. Sometimes a person just wants to do a nice thing. If someone were going to scam people I assume they’d use eBay, not the band’s literal monitored message board, and then continue publicly discussing it. Maybe be less of a cynic or better yet, less of an asshole.

As far as I know, yes! I sent the buyer the poster I received from the artist after ordering from the artist.

Here, by the way, are photos of the other two posters I listed. Sometimes when something is too good to be true, it’s just a decent person trying to do a decent thing.

As far as I know, yes! I sent the buyer the poster I received from the artist after ordering from the artist. However the poster I received was not signed on the front or numbered. I assumed the signature on the back was the signature and the photo just wasn't numbered. However, if I was wrong, that's fine! I refunded the buyer on general principle. The photos the buyer posted in this thread were said to have come from "the artist's drop." At no point did EG ever post those photos. So something seems sketchy to me but whatever. Mistakes happen, the buyer has been refunded, I hope I get the poster back.
the APs are definitely numbered and signed (initialed) on the bottom corners.  hard to see but absolutely s/n.  i would suggest contacting the artist if you bought an AP and didnt receive one.  dont think your beef is with Wild.  they simply pointed out that they didnt receive what they bought. also, they never said the artist posted those pictures or anything about "artist drop", they said that is what the AP looks like. and they're right.  nice gesture either way by you, but sounds like you should be contacting the artist for either a refund or a AP.

Maybe be less of a cynic or better yet, less of an asshole.
so did you send the buyer an AP?

As far as I know, yes! I sent the buyer the poster I received from the artist after ordering from the artist. However the poster I received was not signed on the front or numbered. I assumed the signature on the back was the signature and the photo just wasn't numbered. However, if I was wrong, that's fine! I refunded the buyer on general principle. The photos the buyer posted in this thread were said to have come from "the artist's drop." At no point did EG ever post those photos. So something seems sketchy to me but whatever. Mistakes happen, the buyer has been refunded, I hope I get the poster back.

Appreciate the clarification and your having done so without being rude about it.

    Here's a receipt for you @CH273892
I clearly stated, and meant, your purchase receipt from when you purchased the AP from Evangeline Gallagher; not your refund to WildFly.

You are correct.  Mistakes do happen, and there certainly have been instances of an artist skipping signing/numbering a poster when they have 100+ laid out in front of them.  If you had sent WildFly a copy of your receipt, when explaining, perhaps y'all could have had a good laugh.

Despite you calling me an asshole, I do hope that you get your poster back as well.  And when it's returned, as rustneversleeps suggested, reach out to Gallagher with a kindly worded "ehhh, just realized you didn't sign/number my AP."

Just a quick follow up here. I reached out to WildFly, apologized, refunded their money and asked simply that they send the poster back. No response. Also asked for photos of the corners to confirm there is no signature on the poster. No response. Also reached out to the artist who is very cool, is waiting on me to send photos of the poster to confirm it was not signed/numbered.

I asked a friend who also received a signed poster from the artist to send me photos of the signature and numbering, and have attached those photos of the poster signed and numbered by EG. The signature and hand numbering match the photos I posted of the Vedder poster but do not match the photos WildFly posted. Like not even close, really. Not accusing anyone of anything but wherever those photos posted by WildFly are from, they do not appear to have been signed or numbered by EG.

Feel like I've done all I can and something is slightly amiss somewhere here but since a few folks seemed invested in this, I wanted to give an update. This became a bigger deal than it should have and I'm certainly willing to own it if I received an unsigned poster in error and then passed it on but again, I've given a refund and asked for the poster to be send back and/or photos of the corners to confirm it's not signed, and have not received any reply. Which, again, is fine. I wasn't selling to make money so if I'm out what I paid for the poster it's whatever.
