Idles is not my type of music. But you cant deny the pure fucking energy from the stage and their charm.

Never seen Pearl Jam as good as the start of this show - release > animal > last exit.  They did what Stone talked about in the PJ20 doc: Went out and killed.

What a streak of songs untill Retrograde came and killed all momentum. They got it back afterwards though.

    Amazing.
I've listened to them a few times after seeing people praise them here. Maybe I'm not listening to the right stuff but nothing has really grabbed me yet.

After seeing two shows in 2018 where I only Got one song I’d never heard live before, I learned an important lesson. To stop Chasing songs and not to take shows for granted. And my hometown show yesterday perhaps didn’t have the best setlist of the tour and I didn’t Care. I just enjoyed the ride and, man, was Ed’s emotions all over the place? Wow. There’s always a special Vibe when they play in Denmark and tonight was no exception. Loved every minute of it.
And I really Think the playing and tempos are really on point this tour! No rushed our speedy songs throughout. The groove was really there. Ed still sounds fantastic and now I’m Even more excited about Prague.
Pearl Jam, thanks for sticking Around. The World needs You more than ever!

Me neither.  I listened a bit last fall when their latest album was releaed and it didnt hook me. Tried to listen now before the concert but still not for me.

But they were very cool live. It had a twisted poliical speech/prescher vibe bathing in pure joy and charm. Cool live experience.

I’ll note myself as a male who did not enjoy the Idles, with all due respect to them.  I couldn’t even be in my seat for them.

As for PJ, it was a solid show.  Certainly the LBC was a special moment for this one.  Nothing else was really exceptional but just the usual which is still a very good night.

Hi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.

Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)

Idles , love this band, love the energy… not the best environment to see them though
I do agree with spiritual chaos comment about Joe on RITFW
Regarding PJ, not the most exiting setlist of this european tour, great opening , LBC … this was
    still a good night

On paper the setlist would not get me excited at all.. but it was a really good show, with a Danish crowd that was much better than usual!

I've been listening to Idles quite a bit following the show.. opening for PJ is a tough gig, but they ended winning a good portion of the crowd over!
