    Can't believe it's been 22 years.

I have to say, I was at the Astroworld tragedy last year very close to where all of those young lives perished. Being a PJ fan and knowing about the Roskilde tragedy, it helped me make a clear choice to get out of the crowd within 2 songs. It was all I was thinking about.

Rest in peace to those who lost their lives at both shows.

This date lands on me like close family birthdays in that I can’t ever forget. I think of it days before and always, always day of.
June 30th is forever connected to this tragic event that can’t ever be forgotten.  I’m sure loads of us feel the same way.
Having been blessed to attend more PJ shows than I care to say and on occasion large festival crowds, I tell you I think of these nine lost souls, our fellow fans, way more often than once per year.  It could have been any of us.
I hope somehow, some way, they have been able to enjoy the music the last 22 years from beyond and more importantly, again, somehow some way keep an eye on their loved ones who will always miss them.

Light Years from Melbourne 2003 still makes the hairs on my arms stand up.  I can’t explain it.
WELL said blessings  on all our Sisters and Brothers  and all I feel the same way about this as you. Seeing PJ Sept 18th St Louis Missouri  and maybe  Sept 17th in Kentucky  if I can talk myself  into it  *********

I'm watching PJ20 right now on AXS (American TV channel.)

I saw it in a theater when it debuted and I'll never forget the feeling about 90 minutes in. Everyone seemed happy and carrying on and then it was like someone took a pin to a balloon, popped it and then dropped the pin on the floor.

The atmosphere was deflated and you could hear a pin drop. It was absolutely surreal and yet it can't even begin to compare to what happened there on that horrendous night.

And then... PJ10 at Las Vegas doing Crown of Thorns...it was the feeling of "everything's gonna turn out ok. Somehow, someway, everything's gonna be ok" in maybe this little glimpse of hope.
