    How much longer ‘till they cave?

    Trump vows to not sign any new legislation until SAVE America act is passed

    The president has threatened to not sign any new legislation into law until a key voter ID bill is passed on Capitol Hill.

    On Truth Social, Trump said that lawmakers must pass the SAVE America act “immediately” as it “supersedes everything else”.

    Trump added that he did not want the “watered down version” to advance. A reminder, the bill would require proof of citizenship at voter registration and significantly curtail mail-in voting, but is struggling to clear the Senate. The president, however, remained resolute on social media:

    Airports see hours-long delays due to TSA shortages as Homeland Security shutdown shows no sign of ending

    Lines at security checkpoints continued to stretch for hours at airports across the country Monday morning, as the partial government shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security continues.

    The department, which oversees the Transportation Security Administration, posted photos of long lines on its social media pages, blaming Democrats for holding spring break travel “hostage for political points.”

    Funding for the department lapsed in mid-February amid a standoff between Republicans and Democrats over federal immigration reform. With TSA workers set to miss their first paycheck this week, an increased number of them are taking unscheduled time off leading to long lines and delays.

    Karp’s message is loud and clear: My technology will take political capital away from one of your greatest enemies—liberal women with degrees—and give one of your favorite demographics to patronize—working class men—more political power to transfer to you. He’s aligning his technology with both GOP political strategy and the larger male-centered culture war that the right has been waging for the better part of a decade now. And how exactly would his technology only hurt Democrat women?

    I don't think he will. He and the rest of the GOP will just refute the results if they don't like them, as usual. Last time they did that, there was an attempted coup.
