A lot of people hating on Josh joining the band last year. Looks like it paid off tonight. Dude is incredibly talented.

Terrible set list, though to be expected given Matt wasn’t there and Josh/Richard would probably have only rehearsed the hits. Wonder what they’ll play tonight given they literally played all their hits last night.

C'mon man, calling it "terrible" is laughable. Look at the circumstances at which they had to pull this show off?

Ok, so is Josh Arroyo on these boards!?!? Raise your hand dude if you are!
He's busy getting a shirt made with his name on it, for tonight.
  • The could do an all-acoustic set tonight, "Unplugged" style. I doubt anyone would complain about that.

I had so much fun last night.   I think i'd usually be one of those people that would complain about a greatest hits setlist, but damn was it ever an amazing show.  The crowd and band going hard to support the other drummers.

Such a good show.  Glad I flew out here for it. Looking forward to tonight.

I've been watching all the youtube videos of last night and jesus, what a show! It was certainly a historical moment in the PJ story. Richard is such a passionate drummer! He really brought so much energy to every song he played it was like Dave A era Pearl Jam. And watching Josh sit in was so exciting, it's hard not to feel proud of all of them that they pulled off such a perfect show with humor and love.

Thank you to all the video tapers. Reviewers. Set list relayers. And fans in attendance who brought the energy!

Even though I woke up having no clue, looked at the set list in total confusion, and slowly pieced it all together like a sleuth detective over the past few hours, I now feel like I was a little bit a part of the experience.

I cannot wait to see what happens tonight.

Both Josh and Richard were great. GA was awesome. We hung out about 15 rows back and it was chill as hell. Loved it

  • Just watched YL with Josh on drums. What an amazing job. I couldn't stop laughing after the song was over. He doesn't know what to do, whether to leave the stage or stay to bow with the band. Then he hugs Boom and fist bumps Ed. Haha. This is such a joyous moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=446&v=px1JbfCvffE&feature=emb_logo

This is exactly it. I flew out as well and was really looking forward to a diverse setlist with some gems in there. But last night's show was one of the most joyous and energetic shows of the 25+ shows I've seen. It was special and didn't even have time to be disappointed that another "hit" was being played.

Grohl & Hawkins (RIP) have the distinction of both having sat in the kit with PJ on RITFW. Love that.
