Is it possible that the band had a contingency plan to play a certain set if one member got COVID. Or at least rehearsed a few musicians who play certain songs.
I’m guessing they had some type of plan but hard to see them playing a show without Ed, Stone, Jeff, or Mike. If there’s one role in the band that has seen enough turnover for there to be some flexibility, it’s drummer.

It is very safe to say that every act touring in 2022 has contingency plans on top of contingency plans.

Of course, there is no plan if Ed was unavailable. Anyone else, there’s likely a plan. If Mike or Stone is out, they’d probably move Josh to that position and if Jeff is unavailable, perhaps his tech would take over as has been the case with numerous other acts this year.

Just scrap this leg of the tour. Fresno and Sacto are duds. Add Las Vegas onto the end of the fall leg after Denver.

Very much doubt they look at it that way but I would not be shocked if Fresno and Sacto got canceled. Pretty decent reason to bag two shows that don’t appear to be selling especially well.

    This guy. 🤣

How about they just scrap the shows you go to.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

You can’t reschedule a Vegas show unless it is absolutely essential. 99.9% of the people attending are traveling there to see the show. They are playing tonight, no reason to postpone Vegas unless the COVID unfortunately impacts additional band members.

They can probably do the shows with the Josh/Richard combo.

It happens.  I know blink182 plays without Travis sometimes.  It’s different but always interesting.   These PJ shows will have a different vibe for sure.

Yep. If they cancel Vegas they better do it by Monday so I can cancel my hotel! I mean, I suppose I'd go to Vegas anyway, but I can save the money for when they actually play.
