That pic is of some really ripe, picked late Poms too.  I only get that if I'm in cali.  I did get that in Iraq.  I asked the locals for them.  They called them "Ro-Mon"  it meant grenade, lol.

Iran had them a’plenty, too. Some of my family grow them here.

GG, I’m the exact same way, both with grapefruit and the dried stuff (plus most of them are loaded with sugars).

F Me, vegs are definitely on my radar. Roasted and grilled are my two favorite methods; that’ll make almost anything taste amazing.

@hedonist did you eat the dates too?  So everywhere you can see there were date trees.  So I asked to try some.  Abdul-Haq says to me "Chris, there are over 200 types of dates..."  I told him I only wanted to try 1, not all of them, lol.  Those suckers were good.

I now for the first time have my own garden  so ive gone full on with the small space i have. Plus my allotment  that i can only visit  once a week max as its further  away since i moved. So I grow . Onions from seed. Garlic. French beans. Peas. Cauli. Broccoli.  Carrots. Courgette (zucchini for the  foreigners) . All herbs. Strawberries.  Raspberries.  And flowers. Lots of beautiful  sweet pea varieties.  Gladioli. Lillies .  I think  thats it. I may have missed something

Maybe I should have worded it better.

Not all vegetables are fruits, but all fruits are vegetables. Like how not all rectangles are squares, but all squares are rectangles. Vegetables are any part of a plant used as food. Fruits are the subset of those that contain the seed(s) of the plant. What we normally call vegetables are the non-fruit vegetables. Another analogy! Like how not all dinosaurs are birds, but all birds are dinosaurs! The dinosaurs we see in museums are the non-avian dinosaurs, the avians being birds.
