My spidey senses have been tingling so I thought I'd pop back in & share my predictions too, for late summer/fall:
The Gorge, Boise, Missoula, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, St. Paul, Milwaukee, Chicago...
Then either:
(route 1) Grand Rapids, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Charlotte, DC
(route 2) Omaha, Memphis, Dallas, Phoenix, Las Vegas
If we have shows, I think a lot of them will be outdoor amphitheaters for health/Covid management reasons & they can usually hold bigger crowds. Likely throw in some festivals to the mix as well.
Also politics may come into play where we see them playing more red states, as they make statements for women's reproductive rights, BIPOC issues & voter registration for 2024 election.
Manifesting the Gorge!!, since it's outdoors and has been 17 years since they last played there.
Boise has been referenced a lot on PJ radio & social media. Missoula for obvious reasons.
Then a quick little pop up north over the border to serve some western Canadians for Calgary, Saskatoon & Winnipeg.
Back down to St. Paul for EBRP awareness, over to Alpine Valley? for some mudslide fun, then down to Chicago to anchor in the Midwest.
From there, I think it could go either way, heading SExE to hit a bunch of red states and end in DC (or maybe Florida?) - OR - SWxW for the same reasons, ending in Vegas to make up for the last cancelled show.
Then off to Hawaii, Australia/NZ (lots of emphasis on the Yield shows) & South America, Dec-Feb!
Honestly, I'd be happy with NA shows anywhere, as long as we have some to look forward to!
Anyway, those are my predictions /pipe dreams! ❤️❤️❤️
Maybe they will play the Sphere in Vegas after U2? Maybe a "God's Dice"Tour where they play Binaural
6/26/98 & 6/27/98 - Alpine Valley, 10/9/00 - Allstate Arena - Rosemont, IL 6/18/2003 - United Center, 5/16/2006 - United Center, 5/17/2006 - United Center (7th row center, caught Eddie's pick), 6/29/2006 - Summerfest with Tom Petty, 8/24/2009 - United Center, 7/19/2013 - Wrigley Field, 10/3/2014 - St Louis, 10/17/2014 - Moline (GA), 10/20/2014 - Milwaukee, 5/14/2015 - Pete Townshend/EV, 8/20/16 & 8/22/16 Wrigley Field Part 2&3, 8/18/18 & 8/20/18 Wrigley Parts 4 & 5, 9/18/2022 - St Louis All Chicago Wrigley and United Center shows (not worth listing out )
Thursday Mar 23rd Tour is announced. Lotto open for 4 days. Monday Mar 27th draw starts. Thursday Mar 28th Verified fan presale. Friday Mar 29th public sale.
Ya all on a bunch of dice lol.
Reminds me of when the website would play music when you signed on to hint at a show announcement. Kenny Rodgers, The Gambler playing pre Borgata announcement was awesome.
can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?
Could the dice pic be an album cover? Makes sense Pearl Jam is written on one. Anyways just an idea.

Today - March 9, 2023 - Third anniversary of the day PJ pulled the plug on the 2020 spring tour, two days before the NBA and everything else shut down. No prediction value for a new tour. Just remembering that day not so fondly. In some ways it seems like it was 100 years ago.

I was actually thinking about this today. Everything changed three years ago this week for really the whole world. Think of all the HUGE storylines and events in the past three years… Covid-19, George Floyd, 2020 Election, January 6th, War in Ukraine. It does seem like 100 years ago.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

Could be. But the fact that he specifically used the number 23, and then deleted the post as soon as he knew it had gotten some 10c attention, makes me lean toward this being an intentional breadcrumb.
Long shot back to Atlantic City? The Sphere in Vegas is the better bet.
I don't think the sphere is happening. U2 is opening the Sphere "This Fall" with a residency. September is borderline summer, and the Noblesville show above was quoted as Sept 9-10th. I bet those U2 shows don't even happen until October or so, and they clearly stated that these would be the "opening" shows at the Sphere.
I think if we see shows this year, it'll be 5-6 cities max. Just enough to bridge the gap for what should be a busy 2024 based on their year on, year off routine.

If this was leftover merch, would he not have posted this when he posted the shirt and poster for the show prior to the cancelation?

Possibly. He seems to post random stuff he comes across all the time. Maybe it’s a message or maybe he just found them at the bottom of a box. I like to be optimistic and think it was a message. 🤪

Not sure the Sphere and a Pearl Jam concert are a match. Sphere has state of the art screens for immersive visual experience, PJ has never embraced anything like that with their shows whereas U2 has been on the forefront of this type of thing since ZooTV. That's why U2 was tabbed to open the place with Achtung Baby themed shows. Plus, whoever the 2nd act to play there is, it probably wouldn't be until 2024 as U2 is tabbed for 6 week run from end of September into November, but there's already chatter those dates may be pushed back a bit due to the building not being complete by September, thus the reason no actual dates announced yet but the shows have been.
If we were close before then we are even closer now.
Because of all the smoke here Jimmy or something else? If there's no membership reminder in a couple hours that will let a considerable amount of air out of my balloon

Smoke. I'm a believer. Something is coming. Not in the newsletter and probably not today...but soon. The Tsurt post was pretty much a confirmation for me.

Normally I would agree that he's just showing merch items that were probably developed but never used. But since he deleted the post...
