I haven't been able to find an answer to this. I am only putting in for the Indy show.  Is there a difference between selecting GA/Reserved as 1st priority vs. Reserved Only as 1st priority?  If I put in for Reserved Only as 1st priority, am I automatically ahead in line of people who chose GA/Reserved as their 1st priority and lost GA? Or do they still have an equal shot at Reserved Only as me if I listed that as 1st priority and they listed it as 2nd priority?

Trying to decide if I should go:
    1) GA/Reserved   2) Reserved Only   3) Lawn
    1) Reserved Only   2) Lawn
    1) GA/Reserved   2) Lawn
    1996: 9/29 Randall's Island 2,  10/1 Buffalo                  2000: 8/27 Saratoga Springs
    2003: 4/29 Albany,  5/2 Buffalo,  7/9 MSG 2                   2006: 5/12 Albany,  6/3 East Rutherford 2
    2008: 6/27 Hartford                 2009: 10/27 Philadelphia 1              2010: 5/15 Hartford,   5/21 MSG 2
    2013: 10/15 Worcester 1,  10/25 Hartford                       2014: 10/1 Cincinnati
    2016: 5/2 MSG 2,   8/5 Fenway 1,  11/7 Temple of the Dog MSG
    2018: 9/2 Fenway 1

    2024: 9/3 MSG 1, 9/4 MSG 2 , 9/15 Fenway 1, 9/17 Fenway 2

Options 1 and 3 should be the exact same

Option 2 Gives you less a chance since no GA lotto is selected but lots are going this route since they do not want GA

What's interesting, is that Inhaler is opening for PJ on September 5th, 7th and 10th but squeezing in a solo show in Toronto on the 8th. Could that mean anything for PJ on the 8th or 9th?
    Nah.
They're just young and hungry so filling in an open date.
    This weekend we rock Portland

    Hang on though.

Is it at all remotely possible that there were plans for a May 2023 tour, BUT that these plans fell apart sometime between, say, November and February?

Remember this is the "rumor" thread and not the "solid facts" thread.

There's writing, early demos, demos, promo copies, release copies and probably other stages in there as well. Just because something is in the demo stage doesn't mean it'll be released. Look at Of The Earth or Cold Confession as examples.

In the tech world, there's nightly releases, alphas, betas, release candidates and then the final release. Just because some feature makes it to beta doesn't necessarily mean it'll make the official release.
I never heard anything credible about a spring run of shows.
There was/is a hold for an early May date near me.

No.  Those old posts were pointing out who was right and who was wrong / lying.  Stadium shows get longer lead up anyway.

Chances of a Jordan themed Chicago ‘23 poster? I’m in line already.

Probably much better odds on Ft. Worth, though is all a lottery either way.

I’m someone who’s never been lucky with 10c lottery.
How confident is anyone on actually getting their 3rd or even 2nd priority. Seems almost impossible with this short tour, right?
I’ve never scored more than one show at a time and I never only put in GA

I’m assuming we’re not gonna get anything from our third priority or below, but who knows. Fingers crossed at least some of us hit on our second priorities.

I've gotten 2nd more than once. Third is possible, but far less likely.

I agree that third is unlikely with these shows. Possible exception to that is side/rear stage in Chicago. Not sure how in demand that option will be.
