Wife & I will be there.

I saw PJ at Lallapalooza 92 in AZ (when I was 12 or 13) then the 2013 show, also had suite tickets for the EV tour (2012?). Wish they’d play AZ more often. Wife and I do lots of dmb shows (30+ since 2008 including Gorge, Chula, Irvine, Vegas, Denver and some others).

If anyone wants to “poster buddy” with me, let me know. Plan on going early in the day to grab 2. Just really want to ensure I get a print & absolutely hate supporting flippers.
I'd love to but I cannot wait in lines for merch anymore.  I just can't.
Unless it's an absolutely amazing poster... hahaha!

I'm hoping someone posts early pics of the poster so I can decide if i'm going to deal with those damn lines.
I get it. I’ve done 5-6 hour lines for dmb posters. It’s a pain the older we get. I’ve got 2 ppl lined up that we are gonna try to make sure we get posters. All good.

Enjoy the show! Gonna be a fun time. My first concert since 10/2019 (Phil Collins). We usually do 6-8 shows a year but I’m high risk & we’ve been extra careful. I’m still nervous but will be wearing my N95 & not even getting any beers as I don’t want to take my mask off if possible. Just gonna probably hit 1-2 IPAs in the lot before we go in & eat a gummy.

Will be leaving from Santa Fe in the morning for my 14th and my buddies first show.  See ya all in the pit!  2013 was tremendous and would love anything close to that.  I'll take long road into release to start and indifference to close again, please.  If they want to throw hard to imagine in again, also, that would be peachy.

Are GA people going to try to line up elsewhere before 9am since you're not allowed to line up on arena property anytime before that?

I sure hope not…I realize it is some peoples holy grail to be at the rail but I have a hard time justifying the extra 10 hours to be a couple of rows closer. I was 2-4 people deep at LA1 and LA2 and showed up at 6pm

Wahoooo! :joy: Is anyone is driving to the show from Scottsdale? I thought it was a great coincidence when the May 9th date was announced since I'll be in Scottsdale for a work thing - until my transportation arrangements fell through yesterday. I'll be staying at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch 7700 E McCormick Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. If you or someone you know can give me a ride to the show please PM me. Or does anyone know of a free shuttle or anything? :anguished:

(PS) I don't have a back up plan and if I can't find a ride from Scottsdale I will miss the show. I can offer some cash towards a t-shirt, and I'll even stand in the merch line for you :persevere:

I don’t think there’s any shuttles or public transit that will get u to the venue. It’s way on the other side of the valley from Scottsdale. It’s a good 35 min drive on the freeway between the two.

Weird. I just checked it out on my Uber app and it showed $29.44.

ps. my plans are still up in the air, but there is a small chance I can help you out.

Does anyone know the parking situation at the arena?  When I click on the link to purchase pre-paid parking it takes me to Ticketmaster, which has options in Lot G ($30 and 9:00 a.m. open) which is next to the arena or Lots L and J which are further away ($20 and 5:30 p.m. open).  I'm guessing just bite the bullet and park at one of these options right?  Can't imagine it will be any cheaper paying at the lot and bypassing TM, but if I'm wrong, I'll just wait it out.

The Westgate lots will be $15 and they give you a receipt. You can then use that receipt for $15 off your tab at select restaurants.

And if you get to the Westgate lots before 4:30 p.m. then they most likely won't charge you.

We used to live in Phoenix and I remember when parking was free at the venue! Well it was built into the ticket price and other fees or something. Always thought it was a pretty easy in and out too compared with a lot of places. We're back for this one, but staying close by so don'tneed to worry about it this go.
