I have no idea what to expect with MSG reserved since these tickets will be scattered throughout the 10c sections. I'm just going to assume we have the worst seats in the house and then be pleasantly surprised if possible.
Same! I'd be happy in a linen closet, just happy I'm in the building!
It's New York. MSG would sell a seat there if they could, lol.
Many NYC apartments are the size of a linen closet.
My apartment doesn't even have a linen closet

in 2016 I could almost touch the ceiling from my seat. Behind that box thing in front of us. Not a big fan of how they classed that joint up. Not very rock and roll anymore.

Unfortunately the legendary MSG acoustics took a beating with the reno and installation of the bridges. Poor sound now, especially in the 200s.

Bummer on the acoustics. In 2013 I wasn't happy w/ the sound, and the sardine packing of Oakland arena, for PJ back then. I chalked it up to lousy packed side seating- i don't know for sure- maybe it was just me. Was glad the usher let us stand up by her, near the door out of our section, to watch the rest of the show.

I disagree. The old PA was awful. New one is much better. You might be right on the sound in the upper deck or behind the stage. But in general, the sound is much better.

You can check and see if you won reserved or GA by going on this link, click your request and scroll down. It will either show request received GA or request received reserved.

can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?
  • Guess I was wrong, but glad to hear that the links are still working.  Good to know that I got GA for one show and RES for another.
    I was there...

Add my ticket buddy to the list of people who only signed up for Verified Fan and not the lottery. So we only had one entry for MSG when we thought had two. That could have ended badly. SMH.

I can't remember for certain but I have a sneaking suspicion the same thing happened for Baltimore two years ago.

Bridge seating sound still really good.  Was there for one of the 2016 shows.  REally cool surround sound, reverb effect off the back of the 200 level.  Opening notes of Release sounded even more amazing.

I was right behind Matt a few rows up in 2016 and I agree the sound was good that tour. But PJ usually is one of the better sounding live bands, quality wise. Been to some other MSG shows in the 200s  and noticed it was not as pristine as the old days. Glad that you folks like it still

The seats are being emailed. Just got San Diego (E row 19 towards the stage). I shall take them!
