Well, I guess I am going to Nashville. Didn’t see that happening. I only put in for reserved seating. I would imagine a lot more people put in for refunds than we thought or the the club is really hooking us fans up.
Saturating California with shows really is a headscratcher.
There are almost 40 million people in California, and they haven't played arena shows in California since 2013. (Pearl Jam played Bridge School in 2014 and Ohana in 2021.) Your headscratcher is my no-brainer.
NYC had 2 arena shows since 2013 (GC doesn't count in official stats) and 70 million live within a few hour drive from there and fans come from every corner of the globe to witness MSG shows
That is an argument for them having more shows in the NYC area, not an argument against them having more shows in CA. We're also diverging from the original point, which was that JimmyV was questioning why there would be so many shows in CA, and I was responding, essentially, there are a lot of people in CA and they haven't played a regular show here in nine years.
Having said that, if you start talking about a "few hour drive," now you're encompassing two different two-night stands at Fenway in 2016 and 2018, and two shows in Philly and one in Virginia. That's nine shows within a few-hour drive of NYC in a period where, until Ohana, there had been none within a few-hour drive of any point within the state of California. (I think.)
Can I get tickets to both shows in a city that has multiple performance dates?
No. There is a limit of one show for cities where there are two performance dates. For example, members that already have Ten Club tickets to Night 1 of LA cannot be selected for Night 2.
I thought I read on these Boards, back in 2020, that some people Posted they got tickets to Both LA and or Oakland shows?

Nothing for Nashville here, and it was my 1st priority — reserved, 2 tickets. I had Baltimore tickets, so I am really just hoping to go somewhere else. But I lost out on Camden yesterday, and it looks like I’m losing out on Nashville today. St. Louis is my last hope.
Me Priority 1) LA night 1 received at 12:45 Priority 2) San Diego received at 12:30 Priority 3) Phoenix received at 4:15
Wife Priority 1) LA night 2 received at 3:02
all shows were requested as GA and reserved.
