North American Tour 2022 Announcement

News March 14 2022

After two years, Pearl Jam will hit the road with their 2020 North American tour dates officially rescheduled for May and September 2022, including four newly added shows in Fresno, Sacramento, Camden, and Las Vegas. Josh Klinghoffer’s solo project, Pluralone, will open for Pearl Jam on this tour. Klinghoffer will also join Pearl Jam as a touring member on these dates.

There will be no general public sale. All public tickets will be available through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration. Verified Fan ticket registration is open now through Sunday, March 27th at 10 pm PT, and the Verified Fan Onsale begins Tuesday, March 29 at 10 AM local. To register, please visit:  https://verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/pearljam

A special ticket pre-sale for all dates on the tour begins today for current eligible Pearl Jam Ten Club members (active as of Sunday, March 13th).

In order to maintain low ticket prices and fan club accessibility, we will be releasing a limited number of premium tickets to the public at market rate price at a later date.

As previously announced, Pearl Jam’s 2020 European Tour dates are rescheduled for June and July of 2022.

In continuing their ongoing commitment to address the band’s carbon footprint, Pearl Jam has committed to pay $200 per ton for carbon dioxide mitigation from the Gigaton tour, a ten-fold increase from prior years. By increasing how much they're putting towards their offset, Pearl Jam will be able to pursue a multi-layered strategy of offsets and investments for a more comprehensive mitigation plan. More info will be made available soon. Learn more about the band's carbon mitigation work.

Stone Gossard explains, “We are proud of our prior efforts to mitigate our inevitable carbon footprint from touring over the past 20 years but the time to multiply that effort is clearly right now.  By committing to this aggressive pricing, we hope to equally amplify our efforts and gather partners who share our urgency to make the investments and innovations required to move our world to a more conscious, carbon balanced economy.”

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but just to clarify: If I originally purchased tickets for these shows in 2020, those tickets are valid for the new dates. I need to do nothing. Correct?

Why is there a link for tickets?  I thought our original tickets were still valid and the show was sold out?

Same question. I read it a couple of times and I'm not sure. I think we are good, but it doesn't say specifically.

Reread it a few more times and found this link which cleared up my confusion. Our tickets are still good because they include instructions as to how request a refund if you can't make the show.  MSG here we come!!  On 9-11 no less.  Going to be one hell of a show.

I have a message in Ticketmaster account that my tickets are still good.  I read it several times and it is not clear.  Some clarification would help.  Do we still have to request tix?

Annnnd, just got an email from TM - tickets are valid to MSG for new date and do not need to do anything.  Still going to be my son's first live concert, I am so glad I did not have to tell him we needed to get lucky scoring 10C tix again.

Got the same email as well a moment ago.  Time to find a sitter for the kids and a hotel. Going to be the third show with my wife and seventh overall. First since Fenway in '16.

I know there is a ticket limit of 2 per event, but is there something that stops people from trying to get 2 more if they already have tickets to a show from before?

Kind of odd that they are selling tickets to postponed shows that were previously sold out. Are the Ten Club members the only ones who's tickets are still valid? I checked and my ticket is still valid for Nashville. There was a red circle around the new date.

I have the same question!  It wasn't clear, also hopefully the same seats or better!

Any chance they will have an upgrade option for better seats for those of us who kept our tickets? I know there were quite a few people who got refunds, hoping we could get first chance to get those tix closer to stage

Because people returned tickets when the shows were postponed.

So just to be sure, the folks who already had tickets to MSG can still use them correct? If so how many tickets will they have left over for new request?

yeah 3/30/20 tickets still valid for MSG. How many left over for new people? My guess: not many at all.
