It is a simple question.  Does anyone have covid that did not prior to a show.  Yes you could have gotten it anywhere.  You want to rant and piss and moan then have at it.
It isn’t a simple question…it is a question with no true answer and one that creates/promotes discourse.  This virus is perfect in that way…there are no right or wrong answers…the virus creates division.  As soon as we all figure that out, we will all be better off.  Agree to disagree and move on to some other topic.  Like how great that Chicago show was on Thursday night.

I mean, "Does anyone have covid that did not prior to a show" seems like a simple question to me.  If someone is worried about catching it, I assume that comes with the whole pre/post show travelling and not just the concert itself. They may just be wanting to gauge how likely it is.  Everyone wants to go back to normality at different rates. Your response was fine, but the original reply feels harsh to me not understanding how people (the original poster) feel and what theyve been through because of this virus so far.

Okay Sport.  So the vax provides unlimited and all powerful protection?  Great!  I wasn't aware of that.

  • I effectively gave up on this board because of posts like this. Came back after months away to see if there was any tour news. But here we are, some things never change. Amazing this is still a topic around here, not trying to sound condescending but people need to get a grip. Covid deaths among those fully vaccinated and boosted is .1 per 100,000. Omicron is 91% less lethal than prior strands. These are CDC backed facts by the way. Time to move on, if you can’t accept that level of risk you need to build a bunker and hide in it indefinitely. Everyone is going to get Covid multiple times over the course of their life. Eat healthy, exercise, get boosted and stop spreading unnecessary fear.

Really no way to know how someone did or did not get it at any single event, but since you're asking... Went to both Ohana's, including flying home in between, and went to Newark last weekend. No covid for me. I will say after the LA/San Diego postponement, I may rethink shows that require flying for awhile as I would rather not worry about losing flight money, rebooking, etc.

This is part of the issue. Flying is actually low risk due to the re-circulation rate, filtration of the air, and the amount of fresh air brought into the cabin. People's ability to gauge risk is somewhat off.

I got sick, but it was from being in the 40 degree rain that entire day (NYC2).  I got tested - negative.  If it came back positive, I wasn't going to blame the Beacon.
