Turns out Ace Frehley plays on my birthday this summer, in the town I'm living in.

Screw Pearl Jam in Amsterdam. I'm seeing the spaceman himself a tram ride away.

Have you seen any cool artist on your birthday?

I think the best show I saw on my birthday was the White Stripes, solid show and we were lucky enough to be on the rail.  Good times.

I saw Robby Krieger of The Doors on my 25th birthday. I even got to meet him and take a picture after the show.

I saw the Growlers on my birthday. It’s hard to compare so many amazing shows, but that is up there as one of the best.

I've only ever been to 1 concert on my bday.  One of the 2016 Wrigley shows.   Stars kind of aligned that one of my best friends was living in Chicago at the time, and the show was on my bday.  Made for an easy decision to go :)

On my actual birthday I've seen Dr. Dog and Reignwolf.

On the days before and after, which I've sort of looped into birthday celebrations, I've seen Jane's Addiction, The National, and Rage Against The Machine at Coachella.
  • Just remembered, I did go and see Roxette on my birthday. The last tour with Marie Fredriksson

There's only 2 I believe (December birthday so less touring that time of year normally).

One was Keith Richards and the Expensive Winos at The Orpheum in Boston, other was U2 on the Vertigo tour in Boston, that night they did a very rare (for them) 3rd encore which I tell folks was for me as it was my birthday.

I have an embarrassing admission for a birthday concert. Britney Spears back in 2004. Really was an awful show. Also been to the Rock am Ring for my birthday back in 2001, supposed to be headlined by the new GNR but they canceled and Limp Bizkit took their spot.
