    They still can be, but generally artists planning a surprise album don’t spend 18 months mentioning that they are working on an album in interviews before announcing it’s finished on stage at a show. Also surprise albums pretty much by definition come out digitally months before the vinyl and I don’t think PJ wants to do that.

    It's (almost) impossible for a surprise PJ album to come out tomorrow. PJ are not Radiohead. Different worlds of approach to these things.

    However, I hope the album can be released in the first half of this year even if it seems - from what I know, a 100% certain source - that all the members of the group hope so but there is no certain release date yet.

    Obviously it wouldn't be a surprise since we know one is coming. But meant more like we might be expecting it in April. Then, Bam!. It's out today sort of surprise
