Oh sure I’ve heard stupid people on PJ.com say lots of stupid things. But a lab in China released a flu originating in Chins is usually going to point to China. Occam’s Razor is pretty handy here.

Thanks for telling me out loud what I was kind of able to assume about your deductive reasoning process. There is actually a fair amount of evidence isolating the origin of the virus to that market, and very little evidence pointing to a failure at the Wuhan laboratory. What you're calling "proofs" are surely not that.

Do you believe that the Sun orbits the Earth? Because it's just common sense, so much so that this was what virtually everyone believed for millennia. The Earth doesn't seem to be moving. Meanwhile, the Sun arcs across the sky. Common sense pointed to one answer, but careful scientific observation eventually led us to the right answer.

I'm not watching but I assume the cheeto dust on their mouths makes it difficult to tell.

They confirmed Hegseth. There's no reason to think they would skip anyone else.

It wasn't a lesson about the solar system. Nowhere did I imply that you don't know the orientation of the solar system. The point was to apply your own standard of reasoning to show that it is not sufficient. Your explanation for your belief that the virus was leaked from a lab is that it's common sense. Common sense can lead us to very false conclusions, e.g., geocentrism.
