I still have no idea why they had to wait and send them chronologically.
The 2019 and 2020 are going to be interesting reads...2019 was them in the studio and a solo tour for Eddie through Europe.
2020 was lockdowns and quarantines.
I'd imagine the 2019 will have photos and a look at the Gigaton writing/recording process as well as photos from Eddie's solo tour.Post edited by Lost In Ohio onPresidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

Maybe the beer talking, but let's pull back on the negativity. We got the singles with deep mags recently, so let's move on together and address this year with positive vibes.

Serious question though:
How many places around the world actually manufacture records? It seemed like it made sense for this to be a very small number in the 90s, but now that the record boom is back in business, combined with that fire a few years ago...
How in the hell can other bands put stuff out on time?
Yeah, we know that part of this is the band not caring combined with the fact that their live shows are now recorded for release...they couldn't really put one song from each night of The Home Shows out on a record, now could they?
This was definitely a lot easier in the 90s.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
The challenge with vinyl is that for the most part, most of the manufacturing is done on old equipment. Either places that never stopped pressing, or places that refurbished old equipment. I think someone posted me a link for a place in New Orleans that might of been the first of the modern era to create new equipment, but expansion has mostly been limited to what's salvagable from the old pressing days. It's making it really hard to keep up with modern demand, which while high compared to the 90's/00s, still isn't really that big compared to the pre cd era.I'm not sure how many companies are willing to gamble on manufacturing new equipment. It would suck for the record resurgence to pop and having paid out all that cost.0

An honest question:
Did we ever get these? It was the look at the making of Gigaton.
