Does Bull Moose add this qualifier to all pre orders?
Yes - that's standard wording for all preorders.

Deluxe Cd + Vinyl = 53 USD shipping to Europe = 61 USD Taxes = 23 USD Total = 137 USD
Basically, ordering from 10C to Europe has become completely unviable. Does anyone know if at least the Taxes mean that things are now sent DDP so we don’t need to pay import taxes and customs fees on top? In the past that has always been the case, so the total will increase by another 30% or so…
Yep, taxes account for your countries usual charge(s) to cross the border 👍🏻

I just preordered on UDiscover Germany: vinyl + deluxe cd for 82 EUR delivered. Much better than the 140 USD from 10C. Alas no long way vinyl single though…
Just like with Gigaton it’s surprising that there isn’t a mention of a digital download. For a vinyl that shows delivery date as TBD you’d think they’d include that as they used to with albums.

This always bugged me. Most other new vinyl I buy comes with a free download. I hate spending $60 on a vault and another $20 to be able to listen to it from my phone. Which is why I only have the last few vaults on vinyl. I'm a believer that all new vinyl should come with a free download.

Completely agree. New War on Drugs is about $35 on vinyl with no download. I wonder why they do this (other than trying to money grab for a digital download). I think most people these days stream on a service, myself included, but I also have hard drives of music.

Agreed. The download cards are very inexpensive to produce as well.
This is all so weird. Midnight drop of EV, then taken down, then midnight drop again along with other items that have been long out of stock or never for sale - the latter of which all taken down again and orders for those things refunded. A petty jab at their paying subscribers on the fan club singles placeholder when it's 10C's fault to begin with. No "Psst..." from Santos regarding any of this. Just fucking strange. Did 10C get hacked? Is someone stealing our credit card info?
I ordered the EV vinyl & deluxe CD. Hopefully this is legit, the order stands, and someone doesn't make off with my debit card #...
Sabotage? A social act of treason?
Straight outta sandkasten!
Stephen? Where have you been laying your waste all these years?
I agree for the most part that studio vinyl should come with a download card. however, don't special one offs not come with one (like the vaults, and third man vaults) to kind of preserve the "vinyl only" specialty to them?
But yes, this one should come with one.

That would make sense for vinyl only albums. But there's nothing vinyl only about the vaults, they sell the CD and downloads too. Like when they first released Unplugged, I was totally fine not having a free download and it being pure vinyl. I used to use my free download eah year on the vault. Since I dropped to digital a few years ago, I havent bothered to buy the download. Which I would actually listen to more. I dont get a chance to just sit and listen to vinyl all that often, when I do its usually doing some house work or something. But I can listen to music off my phone while I drive, when we fly to visit family, having a bbq in the back yard, almost any time.
$50 when all is said and done. Excited to hear some new ev solo music.
Getting kind of spoilt with this and the Flag Day soundtrack.
Now only the Into the Furnace-soundtrack needs to be released.
Had a thought....those Out Of The Furnace recordings are bound up in contracts....but nothing says maybe Ed didn't pull a Taylor Swift and just re-record them. I mean, I doubt the movie studio owns the publishing rights....just the use of those specific recordings.

It seems to me that it's actually pretty common these days to NOT get downloads with albums from bigger artists, which is bullshit. Most of the smaller indie labels still include a DL, so why do the bigger labels/bands cheap out and not include it with an already expensive record? I know there are ways to get it illegally on the internet, but I'm terrible at that. The whole reason I started buying records again instead of just downloading was because it was only about five bucks more than paying for a DL or CD to get the record and the DL.

I figured it's because the bigger artists are the ones actually feeling the profits from streaming platforms, so they don't want to be passing digital downloads out when they want the streaming revenue too (I personally don't even use digital downloads when I get them because I'd way rather just use Spotify - so much easier).

I think they did market research since streaming services came into play - how many even uses the download codes, and is it worth it. And came to the conclusion it isn't anymore.

Spotify + vinyl has been my way of listening for a long time now. Can't recall the last digital downloads I've made outside of the PJ bootlegs.
But more bands need to get on the Bandcamp train. You can order vinyl and you'll always get a DL from them that you can DL forever. Even if it gets taken off the site (like that Radiohead OKC Minidisc compilation that was only for sale for 24 hours).
Im sure the record will be available in record stores, its not a product like the Vaults. It would be a terrible marketing strategy to limit it to just here.
