Ok, so I haven't done one of my 'Weakest Link' polls in Other Music in a long while so I thought I would take this back to where it started with music.

So with this one I decided we could debate on our love of British Bands.

Alright, so here go. Lets determine the GREATEST BRITISH BAND.

You are going to pick the band that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 2 days I remove the two (2) bands with the most votes. We will then move on to Round 2.

This is going to get very difficult but round 1 took no thought, for me.

Waffled between The Clash and Oasis.  Almost picked Oasis just because they're such whiny pricks, but if I'm being honest, I like their music better.  From here it gets extremely tough.

I'd be more likely to listen to Wonderwall than Karma Police. I'd be more likely to listen to a little ditty about Jack and Diane than Karma Police. That is the truth.

So I hate Wonderwall almost as much as I hate Champagne Supernova.
Like Karma Police.  Love so much of Radiohead.

Don't imagine they will last too long in this field, though.

Lol, I thought the bottom option said "other." Crap, I would have voted Oasis had I learned to read good.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

    Great thread idea!
First round is an easy first pick for me (and several others it appears).
Sorry to not see Joy Division on the list though.

No hard feelings here! There isn’t a musical act that ever existed at any time that everybody liked.

I was a big fan of the first 2 Oasis albums when they came out, but after that there was only a decent single every now and then. Nothing to sustain my interest. Plus, Liam can't sing for shit live.

When I posted that Pearl Jam should come out to the Oasis intro song "Fuckin' in the bushes" when playing Manchester, the thread was locked and I got warned for being a troll by a moderator. Never got an explanation about what would be trolling about that opinion.

It's the most hyped up intro song for a live act of all time. Of all time. I stand by that Pearl Jam should come out to it when playing Manchester. Radiohead aint got a hyped out intro like this:

I love Oasis too but in the end I vote for the Beatles to win this and I don't even listen to them...

That is Oasis' thing though.  I wouldn't expect Oasis to walk into Master/Slave

How shocking would it be for The Stones to be eliminated during the first round?👀

Definitely surprising. The prolific four album run between Beggars Banquet and Exile on Main Street changed popular music.
