Pearl Jam Concert Video

With the number of high quality concert videos they've put out for streaming over the last 18 months, it makes me wonder how much actually exists.  If they're sitting on mountains of professionally filmed shows, I'd love to see them get released at a steady pace.  Good way to generate some revenue and keep fans happy, considering the band's reduced touring schedule (even pre-pandemic).  Seems like a win-win.

  • How far back have they been using the in house screens? I feel like PJ was verrrry late to do this... But maybe Europe and the US differed?

I remember in house screens during the 2003 tour.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

Think about the gold mine of video there is if they have everything going back to '03.  I believe they recently put out video from the Atlanta '94 show for Sonic Reducer, which gives hope that the entire show was filmed and that there is more 90's footage.  Man, the thought of this archived video is as exciting as it gets for me aside from the real deal.  I watched the Hyde Park video over the weekend and it was so well done.  Please release more, Pearl Jam.

They had them in 2000 when I saw them in Jones Beach. Hence TB2K

2013 was the first time I recall seeing the screens indoors.

Philadelphia Spectrum 2009 had screens indoors.
  • I know they have proshot video for 2000 tour.  I specifically remember looking for NOLA 2000 and found that show.  It was taken down so it leaked out but PJ definitely has stuff from that tour too.

Someone started a thread "open up the vault".  I think that applies here too.

TB2K was shot on miniDV-cams (Sony pd150s?) by the crew, not using the screens video feed... or am I wrong?

  • A bunch of KISS shows from 1996 are available with the feed from the screens.

So any show Pearl Jam had screens for they should have in their archive.

I don't recall seeing screens but they had multiple angles and very good video of it.

I'm not sure. But there were screens at Jones Beach that I sometimes couldn't stop looking at even though I was 8th row

Having screens and keeping the footage are not the same thing.
