Albums you associate with specific seasons?

Are there any albums you associate with any specific season and/or can really only listen to an album during a particular season? Can be PJ or any other artist.

For example, Vs., Vitalogy and Mellon Collie scream Fall to me and it’s always weird to listen to those albums in the summer or spring. Nevermind, Superunknown and Avocado are always in the summer for me. Just a few examples, I can’t be the only one…

    Now is the time for Gordon Lightfoot's "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" although it's still too damn warm in Ohio for the gales of November.

    Mid-winter (after Christmas) when it's snowing, windy and dark... I'm Still Here.

    Backspacer is one that I really only listen to in the summer, it feels weird to listen to in the dead of winter lol. Chili Peppers are pretty strictly summer for me, too.

    Just now realizing that the albums do kinda chronologically flow with the seasons… 🤯

    Ten = summer (“Indian summer and I hate the heat”)
    Vs. = fall (artwork and tone feels like fall to me)
    Vitalogy = winter (darker/colder album)
    No Code = spring (little more hopeful/rebirth)
    Yield = summer (feels like a summer album to me)
    Binaural = fall (getting darker again…)
    Riot Act = winter (“no matter how cold the winter”)
    Avocado = spring (rebirth again)
    Backspacer = summer (more upbeat/sunnier)
    Lightning Bolt = fall (embracing darker songs again)
    Gigaton = winter (artwork/tone feels like winter)

    Very interesting question...

    I can't think of anything for the seasons, but I do know that City and Colour, The National, Counting Crows come out when it's rainy and sad.

    WAIT - Dave Matthews was built for summer.

    Backspacer, LB, —-early Fall

    you know what. They all remind me of the month they were released.  I have nothing of substance to add here LOL

    DMB is the definition of summer music. I can't think of a weirder band to listen to in the colder months lol

    Nick Drake and Simon and Garfunkel are fall.

    Beach boys and sixties pop are summer.

    Always thought QotSA album Songs for the Deaf was a great summer album. I remember a few scorching Aussie summers with this bad boy being played in the car with windows down.

    For me Van Halen I and Van Halen II I've always equated with summer.  Mostly because remember getting into VH in the mid 80s and cruising around the area and the Jersey Shore with those albums blasting.

    Riot Act is a fall album for me mostly because I had it on repeat every weeknight riding the stationary bike in the basement when it came out.

    Murmur and Life's Rich Pageant by R.E.M. have always seemed like Fall, while Green seems like Summer to me.

    Dunno about albums by anybody, but I cant listen to Spirits In The Material World (Police) without envisioning a 36 degree day, looking out the window, everything covered in a deep layer of snow... :i_dunno: Random.
