Can I vote for none of the above? Nothing against GT but they have 20 better songs from before this album and if they’re only playing 20 song sets I’d rather hear the other stuff.
The title of the thread is clearly "Best LIVE Gigaton Song"...There isn't a song called "none of the above" on that album
I think you have missed my point. Cheers
I ll admit shn setlist was a bit choppy with the new songs but 4/6 sounded really good live. (Dotc and take the long way were meh) What show did you see this tour?

All of them. Hence, Gigaton fatigue

Actually I think you missed my point....this is a gigaton thread. Knowing that why post "there are 20 better songs" when the topic relates to the best live song from the album and not "best 20 songs"?

With so many albums of material now and likely shorter shows (also not really a fan of Gigaton),I'd prefer to see more like 4 new songs on a setlist for the upcoming tour instead of 6-8. Practically every song besides the biggest hits are getting rare now. The vast catalog is what draws people anyway.
Heard Seven O Clock on the radio from a show. Didn’t sound that good live to me, maybe had to be there. The album version BUILDS.

We’re such a PJ frenzy group. You think the bands catalog draws people? Yes it draws you and me but no that does not fill up most stadiums. People want the hits. I still hope I’m there for a show where it happens for 3.5 hours of non stop singing. Every fucking radio song. Wrigley 2016 1 was I think 9 or 10 songs pre 1998 in a row to open minus a cover and the crowd was soooooo pumped because there was no Rain! Seriously I’d love a show of just Hits. PJ has more hits that didn’t make their 1st album than 99.9999% of most bands could dream of.

I've only heard bootlegs, not in person, but is quick escape really good live? or just a good song? From what I've heard it sounds a bit flat, like its missing layers to it from the album that cant be replicated live and not a 'full' sound.
It's not my favorite from the album, but SBWM sounded the best by far. The band has always been their best at those mid to mid-high tempo songs. And its always nice when live Eddie can match the same key as the album Eddie.
Quick escape sounded like a mess tbh, kind of one of those "lets make a bunch of noise" songs. I also really enjoyed Who Ever Said and Dance of the C.

You alluded to what I've been thinking since I heard it at Sea Hear Now- the studio version is better than the live version.
Agree with some of the comments above. Quick Escape live won over the masses it appears, but I think it sounds average. Cool guitar riff, but that's about it for me. SBWM, Who Ever Said and Seven O'Clock all sound great live.

Ohana boot’s mix feels like it’s missing the heavy, overpowering bass that I experienced at the show. When that’s rumbling, Quick Escape sounds fantastic - on par or better than the studio version.

QE was a little messy but they have only played it live four times. It will start to jell as they play it more.

SBWM, Never Destination, and WES is next up on the order list as very good!
Middle of the road: DOTC, Buckle Up, Retrograde, Alright
Meh: Rivercross, 7'O Clock (it sounds great but just way to wordy/long and no way to do something different from the studio version - a future beer/bathroom break song candidate i don't have time to study lyrics for hours to figure out whats being said anymore)
Fairly confident CTG would fall in the meh category as I don't even care for it on studio. Sometimes live can win me over though

Could use an additional guitar from Josh maybe. I think he was on keys, which aren't really needed.
