Cherish what you have

I proposed to my wife during a Pearl Jam concert and our wedding song was Just Breathe. Last night she broke up with me. Not sure how I can interpret or even handle hearing some of our favourite songs again. Songs take on a whole new context now. Cherish what you have everyone.

Sorry to hear, that sucks. I hope you can make new memories with the songs
  • I hope so too. Anyone else on here have the same thing happen to them, if so how did you get past it and make Pearl Jam something new for yourself?

  • Try it make new memories with the music, if you can. It’s a good path through a negative association.

Sorry to hear that. Take time for yourself and focus on what's best for you right now. Songs will take on a new significance/context over time.
