I proposed to my wife during a Pearl Jam concert and our wedding song was Just Breathe. Last night she broke up with me. Not sure how I can interpret or even handle hearing some of our favourite songs again. Songs take on a whole new context now. Cherish what you have everyone.

    I hope so too. Anyone else on here have the same thing happen to them, if so how did you get past it and make Pearl Jam something new for yourself?

    Try it make new memories with the music, if you can. It’s a good path through a negative association.

    Sorry to hear that. Take time for yourself and focus on what's best for you right now. Songs will take on a new significance/context over time.
