I agree it’s very odd if more than one song guest appearance. Strange!ryanginger said:
Maybe just present tense and free world. Hard to tell. Other comments suggested more. Sorry if jumping. Not the intent. Just seemed odd.drakeheuer14 said:

I figured Josh was playing fills and adding vocals throughout the night. Pretty common honestly with huge bands. They usually stay right off stage or behind amps.Great show. Perfect festival length. Love that they blasted through 3 Gigaton songs to start it off0

Thanks everyone. Thanks for relaying. Thanks for commenting. Thanks believing and being fans. It may sound lame but a place where we all agree to love something as seemingly inocuous as a band and their live show actually means something!98: St. Louis. 2000: Alpine. 2003: Chicago. 2006: Chicago Night 2, Milwaukee Night 1. 2007: Chicago (Lolla). 2009: Chicago 1 & 2. 2011: Alpine 1 & 2. 2013: Chicago & LA Night 1. 2016: Chicago 1 & 2. 2018: Chicago 1 & 2.

Thanks Tom! Came in late, but psyched to hear Super Blood and the rest of the show! Great to see the band playing together!0

Wasn’t planning on watching the whole show yet here I am lol. Thought SBWM and 7 o’clock sounded the best of the new songs from my couch. Bring on the rescheduled dates!0

Six new songs is an awesome start, and hearing there were actually 8 on the written setlist is great news. Hope they keep that up.
No songs between 2000-2019 is less cool, but let’s see what the next 4 hold.0

COVID redundancy??? Jeff, Stone, and Mike seem to know each other’s parts so a 4th could fill in if someone gets flagged on a COVID trace??ryanginger said:This Klinghoffer stuff is kinda odd. Pre-socializing him for Stone to stop touring or something?0

He was playing/singing backup throughout the show, seemed mostly on the Gigaton songs. Didn’t really notice, was in the back to the left of MC. By the looks of it he was probably on more songs than Boom.NewJPage said:

What a fun show! Ed sounded fantastic!!! Quick escape was killer live. This will be the song from gigatom that makes it in the live set for years to come. The ending jam was amazing. The crowds energy was absolutely crushed when dotc started. Definitely a weird flow to the setlist but tough to pull off when you have a new album and only two hours.IMO totally worth it, can’t wait for the next one.Post edited by mcgruff10 onI'll ride the wave where it takes me......0
