Like the new song. With all his new solo stuff, I like it and appreciate he is releasing an album, but I’m not loving the material like I expected to. Maybe it will grow on me over time.
New track has some Talking Heads vibes in the bridge.
I'm loving these 3 songs and the one he did on Elton’s album. Which make me look forward to theor collaboration on his album. Also the Stevie Wonder track. If "Without You" was on this album. It would have been done the way Natalie Maines did it on her's.
Can’t think anything other than this is a song about Chris ‘I search the sky for a glimpse of his blue eyes’!!!……and the ‘fuck you’s’ at the end, are they for Vicky?!?! Whatever the subject matter I absolutely love it and the final section is pure PJ, band playing or not! Here’s to more of the same!

The "fuck you"s are for Chris, in a playful way, like "screw you for dying."
In the verses before, he basically says, "If you die before I do, and get to heaven, put your arms around my friend and tell him Fuck You for me, for dying. Thats what friends are for."

Also seeing the album like a setlist and having special guests at the end… lol smh.

Brother The Cloud could have been the first single. I really dig this one.

"Oh I can hear him sing."
I mean...that has to be about Cornell.
But like good art....this song can be applied to everyone.
