First off a huge thank you to everyone that made this possible firstly the band,10c and the many others.
Let’s get the Blu-Ray up in the shop.
What a gig. It really had it all-the essence of a PJ live show. Tears shed in the audience on some of the slower tracks, the absolutely blistering, feel the stage burn rockers, awesome crowd, the at times spontaneous song selections, a flub or two. Ed so comfortable it felt more like he was the front man/party host. The band looking totally relaxed(I’m sure they weren’t with a full album of rare material and the inevitable audibles ) and so much more to perform with ear to ear grins while sharing a quip or two and still ripping it up. Loved Mike giving Matt a face melting during Alive and the two of them having a laugh. The family getting the setlist late(guy in a Vancouver 2013 shirt I believe) and losing it with excitement.
Fantastic camera work lots of shots of all the musicians and almost as important the crowd and generous amounts of time on each not just a split second at a time.
Lastly it felt like we were damn near at the show, we’ve never felt quite like that with a Blu-Ray or stream.
Not to sound like an old man prude, but in the future, can "setlist" shirts possibly censor the "Fuckin Up" title on the back of the shirts? I didn't even think about it until it arrived, and the first thing my eyes (as well as the rest of the family's eyes) were drawn to was that song. So now I'll either have to try and layer that shirt (which isn't common to do in FL) or try and mark it out to avoid getting comments from people anytime I wear it. I know they are supposed to look authentic as the set list, but even putting some -- or ** on top of the letters would be cool.
Comments
There probably will be.
