I might be the only one here, but I thought that the whole soundtrack is weak. Drive was clearly the one for me that stands out, but I prefer the REM version 100 times over.
Love Eddie and Glen, so I probably just had to high expectations...

I prefer the original version as well, but Eddie does the song justice.
So we’re still unclear if Ten Club is the only route to get the vinyl or not? No other preorders up in the Wild?
Too risky to wait to find out, no? If it is only at 10c, and sells out, its gonna cost a lot more than the couple bucks extra shipping to get your hands on it.

True. I would have figured there would be other places listing them as well, but nothing that I have found. My local store was supposed to ask their distributor if they had heard anything, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

Very good soundtrack, love it!. My favorites are Tender Mercies and Drive (always love this song but with Ed's voice, magnificent!). In Belgium, we'll be able to see the film at theaters on the 9/29. I'm ready!!!

Love the soundtrack and blown away with Tender Mercies and Ed's voice on any and all tracks he's on. Cat Power did a great job too. I saw the movie and liked it...didn't love it. I had high expectations and thought Sean Penn was reaching. Good performance from his daughter, and some moving moments for sure. It's definitely worth seeing but selfishly wanted more of Eddie's voice on the big screen. Drive delivered, but not much else with him.

So many great songs on here. I'm a massive Ed, Glen and Chan, and now I can include Olivia on that list.
'My Father's Daughter' is mesmerising, and 'Flag Day' is already one of Ed's best solo songs IMO. And as for 'Tender Mercies'... I have no words...

Can someone post a Dummies' Guide to putting downloaded music into their Ipod? I can't seem to master this task. I only occasionally get DL files as most of my ipod music is from cd's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just purchased the Flag Day CD and would like to put the flies on my Ipod. I also would like to know which type of file is best for Ipods.
Thanks, Andrew
-Use the download code and save it on your computer -Open iTunes/Apple Music -Find the tab from the dropdown menu to "Add files/songs" to iTunes/Apple Music (the verbiage will depend on which version you have of iTunes/ Apple Music) -Select the files -Good to go
Thanks very much!
Andrew
I just drag and drop the files into iTunes.

Question for those who have the vinyl (assuming the record label has songwriting credits on it, as most, though not all, do):
I have seen Eddie credited as sole songwriter for "Flag Day," "Rather Be Home" and "I'll Be Waiting," but I found another tracklist that credits both Eddie and Glen for all three of those songs. Can anyone verify actual songwriting credits for those three songs?
(I already know for a fact that it's Berry, Buck, Mills and Stipe for "Drive" ; )

Not sure because the vinyl hasn't shipped yet. I think some of the credits are on the Apple Music descriptions.

Will try to catch it in the theater but looks like showtimes are down to a trickle at least in NYC.

I hope so. There have been no screenings here locally on Cineplex.
No word yet on the DVD or Blu-ray release date. https://www.blu-ray.com/
Hope they get a chance to put this film online for viewing.

It really is beautiful.
If you are lucky enough to hear some of these songs next week... keep quiet about it! I'll be too jealous!
