    It's almost time!!! So stoked. 

    So this forum might not be a great way to keep connected during the day of the show. Does anyone recommend a group chat app? Whatsapp or GroupMe? I think Instagram has a group chat feature too. What do you all think?

    I use Whatsapp for most of my group chats and it works well. I’d also recommend Signal if you’re looking for something more secure.

    Long Beach - The Queen Mary / Aquarium
    Orange County - Disney
    Universal Studios are a little north of LA
    Drive the PCH up to Malibu

    Wife and I will be arriving early on the 1st.  Definitely interested in some preshow shenanigans.  Pretty stoked I got an Airbnb on a boat at the marina!

    I am also an orphan headed from ny to the west coast.  Looking to meet up with the other orphans.

    Question though, as a NON Facebook/Instagram user, is it possible to use Whatsapp or something like that to communicate?

    Sea Hear Now was a good taste of gigaton. Quick Escape and Superblood were phenomenal live.

    Cant wait for more!

    Sure! I have the whatsapp app but I haven't used it. I want to respect the privacy of everyone and I think you need a phone number.

I like the idea of having a spot where people can come and go and other folks will watch out for your spot. whether the bleachers or closer to the action sounds good to me. I still can't believe three of my favorite groups will be playing one after another on Friday!

    Anybody waiting it out for encore? My buddy is traveling back home and then returning, so I'm solo for the next few days. Would be cool to meet up if someone's interested.

    My flight arrives in San Diego just before noon. I am going to get my rental car, drive to Dana Point, check into my AirBnb, and then walk down to the venue to check out the outside merch line to see how long it is. If it is too long I will just go grab some lunch somewhere and hit up the inside merch areas when I go into the festival later in the day.

    How will I find my fellow orphans???
    I'm local and going solo Friday & Saturday. Planning to arrive around 6 or 7 each night. Would really like to connect with some solo friendlies!

    Still trying to decide which day to aim for closer to the stage and which day to just chill and have fun all over the park. Any soloers for pre-game at the Rib Joint Roadhouse across the street from the festival?  Figuring beers have to be cheaper than $14 and better food.

    Hi y'all! Fellow orphan here! I'll be headed out to Ohana from Phoenix tomorrow morning for the encore, and I'm hoping to get there in the early afternoon. I am totally clueless on all the apps you guys are discussing to keep track of each other, unfortunately. I will be headed up to the stage to get a good spot prior to Beck/Brandi going on each night. I'm going to try and dig out one of my 10 club shirts to wear tomorrow so I'll be easily identifiable for anyone looking for a buddy. I'll hit up some groups near the stage, and hopefully some of you will be there! :)
