Release Me - depression

My best friend took his life yesterday. He hung himself. I’m in a state of shock. Devastated. We had just vacationed together last week. As I go through years of memories on my phone, it jumps out just how many great times we had with Pearl Jam at the center. Wrigley, Fenway, Great Woods, Hartford...so many great times. The video that hits me right in the gut is a choppy version filmed from the field at Wrigley, 7/19/13 as the camera turns to span the crowd my buddy is just belting out the lyrics to Release. 

“I’ll hold the pain....I’ll open up....Release Me”

I pray that my friends pain has been released and he is in a better place. 

Check in on your loved ones. Let no care or love go unspoken.

    So sad. I hope your friend found the peace they were looking for and I hope you do whatever you need to in order to  heal yourself from this tragedy.
