    The Coming Days

Better band name or album name? Maybe a debut self-titled album?

Feels like a double whammy today; no announcement and the rumoured Canadian makeup dates just completely suck.

Why do people think PJ is playing Ohana?  They never do festivals two years in a row and already have three SoCal arena shows (SD and LAx2), and played Ohana three times last fall.  Ed is obviously going to be there but I don’t see PJ playing there again this year.
If the September and October rumours are true from the last couple pages, this seems like a logical break in the tour.
Because Ohana can't do an "Encore Weekend" without Pearl Jam on the bill. So the fest doubles their money if PJ plays. People think 5 PJ shows in SoCal in one year is a lot, but they'd done it before. They literally played LA 4 times on the 2009 tour AND played San Diego. I know people who hit every LA show AND every SD show (SD is only two hours away). And saying they wouldn't play Ohana two years in a row because they've never played a fest two years in a row kinda overlooks the fact that Ohana is Ed's festival.

People also think that the demand for the EV show here was low due to Ohana last year-- that's not the case. I would've gone if it hadn't been so expensive. Or if it had been PJ. There is significantly less demand to see EV solo than there is the full band and that's simply because the full band shows are a thousand times better. So they could absolutely sell out LA x2, San Diego, and Ohana x 2 (especially if Ohana has a strong lineup-- imagine if they added Foo Fighters, U2, or RHCP etc).
Those 4 LA shows were at the Gibson Amphitheater. Capacity was a little more than 6,000. They didn't do multiple nights at the Forum.
    Right.
LA is a soft market for rock concerts when you consider its population.
    This weekend we rock Portland

is that we know so far?

    ST LOUIS 9/16
    OKC 9/18
    DENVER 9/22
    Today I heard
    Quebec. 9/1
    Ottawa 9/3
    Hamilton 9/5
    Toronto 9/7

    Unable to confirm
Labour Day weekend will be a tough one.

Canada can gladly have labor day weekend or anywhere else, as long as the apollo and msg shows aren't that weekend.
I think it's strange that these dates are all exactly every other day from each other. I think they might not mean anything. I can't think of a tour that went perfect odd or even days like that for that many shows in a row... not back to backs or not every third day etc... doesn't really make sense to me.
September is pretty much wide open. This is not November 2019 when they are trying to book March/April 2020 which was pretty much booked solid. They are at the luxury of running a route that makes sense to them this time. Also if you look the dates do flip from odd to even. Canada to Denver there has to be at least one two day break or a back to back. MSG obviously has been hinted at more than one show this time so one would guess that is where it flips.

@tschav meme made it to the group cover photo of the Facebook page!

I've had Photoshop and the forum open most days waiting for the announcement. At least I can now validate that time was put to good use.

No! That's one of the things that sets them above the rest. No Platinum and no bullshit aisle seat upcharges.

I have a doctor's appointment at 1:00 tomorrow, so look for the announcement tomorrow.

Doctor's office just called to reschedule, as the Doc will be out of the office tomorrow. I'm thinking he's a PJ fan, too, and will be glued to his computer.
