The crazy of this thread is rubbing off - I just booked hotels for Nashville and St Louis. I was going to book the hotel right across from the Enterprise Center, as I've stayed there before, and the location can't be beat, but it's changed ownership, and looks a little run down (reviews back this up).
Ha, I booked that hotel….not sure what to expect. Doesn’t sound great but not planning on being there for long 🤷‍♂️

Also, no announcement of dates at this point will change my opinion on how poorly PJ has handled this.

September Is when I take a few trips every year. Already have them booked. So fucking annoyed with this whole process. I already know MsG will
most likely fall in a day I’m out of town because why not.

While I get being bummed about how this is shaking out, you can't really get mad at a band for not taking your personal travel schedule into account when booking an international tour.

They're giving us 6 MONTHS notice. That's pretty generous.
That’s your opinion. My opinion is that this is absolutely ridiculous at this point. There’s no excuses left. There’s literally no band left that hasn’t announced or already made up dates that were affected by Covid.

I'm guessing you'd not be this upset if these rumored dates didn't land on your trips.

Either way, sounds like you've got some decisions to make. If you choose PJ, I hope you're able to recoup most of your expenses from the other trips. Cheers
Not upset. I’d still be annoyed. This was handled extremely poorly but at this point I shouldn’t be surprised.

Anyone know if Pear Tree Inn is ok in St Louis
I hope so, because I just reserved a room there for 9/16 and 9/18. The reviews seemed ok, and it is only a 15 minute walk from the venue.

It is disappointing to have a conflict on your date after 2 years of holding, 6 months notice or not.

One of the great joys in my life is going to McDonalds and choosing the drive through lane that never moves, while the cars that got there long after you in the other lane order their food first.   Sitting and watching those other cars go by is such a thrill.  I know eventually the McDonalds attendant will remember my lane exists so I don't fret.  It is my fault for choosing the wrong lane.

    Have a great day everyone!

I would be bummed out about any conflicts so I do get it.

That said I don't blame them for waiting until COVID was largely in the Rearview Mirror before rescheduling... surges in August and January likely didn't help Matters.

They gave folks a shot at refunds so that was good.

IMO they handled it pretty well all things considered. Had they tried to jam the shows in May with only a couple months notice I'm guessing the number of conflict issues would be higher given the proximity to the dates.

I have the same ability to choose the wrong check out line at the super market. I think it might be my super power.

I may order that book for my brother. I had to verify it was real (which it is). I sent him the link for the free Audiobook. Thank you for this lol. Worth ordering for $6.49.
