^ This is why I don’t even think about messing with the merch situations at these shows. Not worth it at all.
I think you mean the picture, not my post, but anyway:
PJ fans are the best and many have helped before, they rock. And it keeps flippers off ebay, cuz I won't pay the inflated prices.
Yes, of course. We must have posted at the same time.

My buddy just sent me a photo of the merch line.  No joke, 2 1/2 blocks long.

I just don't get it. Love this band, love the music, love the shows but I have zero desire to wait in line that long for a t-shirt or poster.  I think those people are all nuts.
    I don't get it either.

Only going to see Pearl Jam. Might catch a little of the Band before them.

Sometimes I wonder what people do that they have time to stand in a line 2 1/2 blocks long.
Some folks flip the extra merch for a profit, which than covers the expenses of their trip and tickets - hard reality.  Folks like me are willing to pay a little extra for a poster than stand in-line for 2 1/2 hours - so I guess I'm part of the problem as well. I never understood why they wouldn't just have an option to include all the merch upfront in the ticket ordering process so you wouldn't have to wait around in lines and than carry the merch with you during the show.  I get it - different vendors etc.  However, by standing in lines you miss out on the experience of exploring the area/venue and being with friends etc - imo.

Merch is fun. It gets me excited about the show. I’ve probably wasted time in line and getting to the show at gates for merch but I’m still having fun.

I only buy for myself and people on here.

Curious to know, who is attending Sunday and how many are skipping it?
    Skipping as of right now.
I admire the dedication of the merch freaks and wonder what percentage of them are fans and what percentage are flippers.

    Just waited 3 hours.

Already running out of L and XL tees.

    Exhausted.

  • I've done that merch scene.  Never again.
  • Couple ?s if anyone can answer:

    1. anywhere to store stuff outside the venue, like lockers at a beach nearby or something? I’m taking the train up from DC and back without staying the night. I want to have a few random things with me and sort of tired of trying to find loopholes in the bag policy cause if they don’t work, I’m screwed

    2. are we standing on sand or grass (or what was once grass)? And it looks like there’s no way to actually get in the water within the festival even though there’s surfing demos?

    3. I’m so so so so so excited.

    4. If the DC insurrection riot/protests shut down union station tomorrow I will lose my every loving mind

    5. eeek. Mostly I’m just excited and hopeful and all the things I usually feel before a show plus all the extra
