    REO Speedwagon, Hi Infidelity
God most of these just remind me of Coke’d up nights I can’t stand any of these albums.
Bobby and Whitney probably did more coke than the rest of the list combined. They were not a good match for each other.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Everybody in the 80's was coked up.  If you hadn't at least tried it, you probably lived in a convent.
Coke didn't make artists create mediocre records.  A mediocre listening public was responsible for that.

I thought Culture Club and The Police were bigger worldwide in the 80's?  Even U2 I'm surprised is not on here.  They were the biggest thing in the world at one time.  Joshua Tree I thought was up there.

All of this talking down about cocaine.
A Chappelle/Rick James would say -- "Cocaine, a helluva drug!"

1983 - Synchronicity (top album for 10 weeks) was overshadowed by Thriller (top album for 22 weeks)
1987 - Joshua Tree was up against Slippery When Wet. (Teen girls buying albums was prolly the deciding factor there)
