Anyone who doesnt know Shon (seattlebatman) and the guy in the original video here. He is a wonderful guy, very friendly, charming and just super dedicated to this.

If you are in the Seattle area, hit him up as he will welcome you into his building for a look around and is really passionate about it all. I'm sure you'll have the most fantastic time. I certainly hope to do this one day.

Yeah... No connection to the band. He just started collecting real early, back when the rest of us were tacking them to dorm walls.

He has one of every AP, SE and variant...except for (I think) two or three.

He also has quite a collection of non-PJ and EV...and I think I read he does tours too.
Not sure if he still needs it or not. But I have the 1 variant poster he needed a while back. It's the Dabs & Myla Toronto from 2011. The beaver holding a bottle of maple syrup and leaning against the wall. There was only 20 of them

Yeah I've never met Shon but I messaged him once on instagram and that's exactly what he said. "Hit me up if you're ever in town, I'd be glad to give you a tour." He seems like a pretty decent guy. I can't judge him for having the level of passion/obsession/whatever he has for Pearl Jam. We all geek out for this band in our own ways.  It's kinda cool that he's basically built a PJ museum.  Hopefully I can make it out there sometime and see it all!

TBH if I had a lot of money Id be indulging in a crazy collection as well. Some people are just collectors by nature. There was a guy here that won the lottery and bought a record store. Some of the rare stuff they had was incredible. Dont think it was bought as a business concern.

This man’s passion is the same reason we are all on this message board.  No one should dismiss his passion.  I certainly do not have the time, the money nor the space but I applaud him.  The music touched him as it did all of us at some point (it still reaches me).

He had the means and took it to another level.  This post actually refreshed me in a sense, I remember that feeling after seeing PJ the first time, I was on a natural high for a good 3 days.  And I’ve never looked back, I was hooked then and I know the band can still bring such emotion to me in the music.  Can’t wait to see them live again.

Don't come closer or I'll have to go

The real question is how he gets all of the posters signed by Ed and/or the entire band. Follow him on insta and you will see what i mean.

That is a collection taken to new heights. I've always been a collector, starting from the early days with baseball cards and comics.  Still have my collection of both, which is not all that much. I wonder where this guy's obsession stems from. I'm definitely looking him up if I ever make it back to Seattle. My PJ collection feels solid, but now I'm wondering where it would fall in the grand scheme of things amongst Jammers.  In hindsight I wish I had every poster from the 20+ shows we've been to, but I have close to that in total with some of the EV ones we've attended.
