Things you believe are obsolete and need to go.

Thinking about the filibuster thread in AMT and still adjusting to the time change, I thought it might be interesting to see what you all here think are things that are obsolete and need to go.

And those two things I just mentioned come to mind for me right off:  The filibuster and changing the clock twice a year need to go.

What do you find is obsolete and needs to go?

Hmmm, yes, but without them, there would not be this song:

The amount of daylight isn't affected by moving the clocks.

    Haha, very generous!  :s:smile:

This week, my biggest "I could do without this" (sort of fits the thread, I guess) are tow things:

    1.  Crappy internet service.  We really only have one choice here and it goes out on us at least two or three times a week. Driving me crazy!  The only other possibility is StarLink and I'm told even that doesn't work well here.

    2. Our new furnace.  Jeez, Mr., pleeze, I'd rather freeze!  We had to replace the furnace and we told it was very close to blowing out in a way that could have either killed us with CO2 or burned the house down.  Well, phew, BUT... the new furnace is also bad news because when when turn it on to heat the house it stinks bad, and I mean B-fuckin'-A-D,  B-A-A-A-D!!!  Our nice HVAC man told us the manufacturers coat new furnace parts with oil so they won't corrode and it takes a while to burn off the oil.  OK, great, so burning industrial oil fumes in the house.  Great!  Just what the old lungs need!  NOT!   Today was day three of this shit.  I'm feel like losin' it, B-A-A-A-D!

    Damn, what a week!

I completely understand and am willing to make the sacrifice of a lifetime to unburden anyone or all your superfluous and useless NM/M- vinyl LPs.  Simply slip them in a well padded postage paid cardboard box and ship them to:
