This really doesn’t mean anything. I mean, they’re not voting if Jewish space lasers are at fault for anything. Her crazy ideologies and Qanon conspiracy theories aren’t up for a vote. What is more or less normal is voted on.
Have republicans vote on if they approve on everything she says and does and I’m sure would be a lot lower.

Nobody thinks they are voting on space lasers.
This is more a reflection of how tight a hold the far right maga wackos have on McCarthy and the party in general.

But is that data even unusual? I would have thought if you take any random person from 20 years ago from either party, their party voted with them almost every time too. It doesn’t seem that alarming to me.

The same woman who believed in space lasers and, as the post above states, seems to be upset that the government shouldn't be helping people register to vote is lockstep with the modern maga republican party. It just reinforces the fact that a right wing maga wacko is actually considered a regular republican today...not to mention one who holds as much as power as just about anyone except for the speaker of the house. She is the face of the modern maga republican party.

I agree with Mace. just because she's a nutjob in the media, if her bills are in line with republican policy, why wouldn't they vote with her? politics on both sides are about being a team now. they aren't going to vote against her out of principle because she's a quack.

That's the point. Plus McCarthy is basically her puppet so naturally the bills that go to a vote will be more likely aligned with her viewpoints. He's has done everything he can to appease her and the other wackos, that's why a sham impeachment is likely to happen no matter what in the next six months.

We should stop even calling this party republican or gop and just refer to it as maga.

Except they would love that, and the same crazies and "moderate" republicans would still vote for them.

Saying the party has shifted and calling MTG the face of it are 2 different things though. And her voting record has nothing to do with her antics and how others vote says nothing about how they agree or disagree with her personal life.
    Most people know she’s crazy.
