Presales are supposed to go live today, so a sell out seems unlikely at this point unless they had like 10 copies for preorder.  I figure it is a placeholder and will go live later today when the PNW awakes (10am PST?), which is why I included it since it is linked directly to CC’s own site.  I bought off UDiscover myself.

It's hilarious that rolling stone has become a pay site for their articles.  Sometimes I can read them, other times there is a paywall.

I'm pretty stoked to be waking up to news of a new Chris Cornell album.  I think I'll buy the regular version, not too big on picture discs.  I love color vinyl, but for some reason I don't dig picture discs.

Totally agree!  For years I was able to read all of the articles.  Oh well.

I'm also wondering if this goes to retail.  Always cheaper to buy without paying for shipping.   Either from Amazon or at my local store.

I'm guessing it does (probably the regular version).

Someone theorized that reason it wasn't listed for sale this morning (listed as sold out) was because they hadn't made the announcement yet?

It’s available to stream on Amazon. I’ll go that route for now. Wasn’t a big fan of the Patience cover but hopeful for the rest of this.

I am interested to hear the Harry Nilsson cover, that was a nice treat at the TOTD show.

The title is appropriate. It is likely the last time to hear Chris sing any new songs, so I got it.

no. there's unreleased SG songs, or solo CC songs if you believe Vicky, that are the source of litigation. they'll eventually get released just like Nirvana's You Know You're Right did. I'd personally prefer if it was SG. I love CC, but I have more than enough CC solo. I need more SG.

plus it sounds like between the 3 Audioslave albums, there's enough outtakes to make a single outtakes album...

So was this really an album finished before his death and ready to release? With Brendan mixing and producing... I guess it was a "real" project...

So it's not scraping the bottom of the barrell of a personal harddrive to find something to release?

Ok..... this all sounds like someone dropped some basic midi drum tracks behind some rough demos Chris knocked together at home. I find it ery, very hard to believe Chris had any intentions of releasing this stuff.
