For the record, I think trump can be an asshole and I wish he would just shut up sometimes, but I love his policies.

If Biden decides to run again, as incumbent he will most certainly be the Democratic nominee.

If he doesn't, then it will be an open field like 2020 in the primaries and we'll have to wait and see. But I doubt the nominee would be Harris and certainly won't be Sanders.

If Biden runs, there are 2 possible outcomes depending on the Republican nominee:

    Biden defeats Trump handily.
    DeSantis defeats Biden.
Dear lord I really don't want 80+ year olds running for President anymore...

I'm trying to like Buttigieg.  Beto is still on the seesaw w me too.

I agree. Wish they'd institute an age ceiling. There is a floor at 35, why not a ceiling at 70 (for a first term, you can run for reelection if you are an incumbent and have passed age 70).
And Buttigieg is incredibly intelligent, would probably make a good President, but I wonder if he's electable currently because of his sexuality. (Sad that this is a consideration, but it's the reality)

I understand that it's his downfall unfortunately.  Beto worked as a bulldog in the financial department which I don't like but is good for being a president.

If Biden doesn't run, I would be surprised if Newsome didn't put his name in the ring.  He is young, experienced and has the look.  He'd also tower over the little Meatball by about 7".

If that’s the only thing you have to look forward to for the next two years “buttercup” then I really feel bad for you.

Well they said the same thing about a black president and he very easily won two terms.  Pete doesn’t exude any confidence or leadership qualities imo. Gavin is a strong possibility though.  Frightening.

racism, corruption, more wealth for the wealthy, xenophobia, cozying up to dictators...those policies? cuz his policies haven't helped the people that voted for him one fucking bit. they're just too dumb to realize it.

is it because of his orientation that you make fun of him? because every interview I've seen with him, ever press conference, he's exuded high intelligence, understands policy, leadership, confidence, and compassion.

you know...the exact opposite of the former guy, and everything I'd want in a president.
