he used to be good at criticizing all where it was warranted. now he just comes off much of the time as an old man hating the new generation of people he views as soft.

Haven’t been on here in a bit, too long of a forum to read.  By now everyone must know Trump really won right?
I know he got hosed out of an Emmy for the Apprentice. I know the 2016 Iowa Caucus was stolen from him. So obviously.

It's amazing how often this poor dude gets cheated. A feeble-minded individual might get the wrong idea that he's so insecure that this is how he deals with losing. Free-thinkers, however, know he never loses.

Well that's the irony, isn't it?  How does one vote for a person who is constantly cheated and it's successful.  Either the Democrats are utter geniuses or he is a total moron that can't stop himself from being a victim.  Either way, why would I want a man who is incapable of stopping someone from cheating him to be negotiating with the tyrants that don't play by any rules?

Every argument that MAGA has includes gaping holes that are actually a negative reflection on them.

If you’ve done your taxes and aren’t pissed at the trump republicans and the democrats ….i don’t know what to tell you. I need the gop to get theirs heads out of their asses.
The GOP's heads are up Putin's ass, not their own. That bears repeating: The party of Reagan is full on enabling Russia. Did you ever think you would see the day?

Don't hold your breath waiting for that party to come around. The respectable members are currently jumping ship.

There used to be so many more voices on this corner of the Pearl Jam forums.  This place is practically dead these days.  I know I've cut way back on reading and posting here.  This train needs a major overhaul... or be retired to the rust bucket.

Dem states, cities overrun by migrants funneled millions in federal COVID-19 aid to support illegals

Biden admin 'directly subsidized "undocumented" immigration under the guise of COVID-19 pandemic relief,' report states

    Published February 21, 2024 8:00am EST

FIRST ON FOX: Democrat-run states and cities across the country that have been inundated with illegal immigrants in recent months previously earmarked tens of millions of dollars in COVID-19 financial assistance programs to support "undocumented residents."

According to a Fox News Digital review of state and local programs, Democrat governors and mayors earmarked at least $517 million for the programs, which generally consisted of providing cash payments to individual illegal immigrants. The funding reviewed by Fox News Digital was drawn from the American Rescue Plan (ARP), the $1.9 trillion federal COVID-19 stimulus package President Biden signed into law in March 2021.

"This means the Biden Administration directly subsidized ‘undocumented’ immigration under the guise of COVID-19 pandemic relief," a recent report from the Economic Policy Innovation Center stated, pointing to how federal ARP funds were diverted to illegal immigrants in Washington state.

Overall, in addition to Washington, Fox News Digital identified such a funding mechanism in Illinois and New Jersey, and the cities of Washington, D.C., Chicago, Denver and Boston. The jurisdictions, in particular, used funding from the ARP's Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, which was designed to help local governments recover from the pandemic.
