And not 1 (one) day spent golfing

Imagine golfing 19 days during your probationary period of your first 90 days? I realize it’s in the first 100 days but I’d be willing to bet POOTWH played those 19 rounds in the first 90. Spare me the 24/7 nature of the job as that orange slob watched TV until 11:00 every am and was tweeting from 7:00 pm on. So much winning.

wow, that's pretty damn high after everything that's gone on. good for him (and the country)
Let’s be honest... it’s still mostly one issue. The vaccine rollout is leading this charge.  Shows you what trump could have had off he wasn’t an idiot
    hippiemom = goodness
  • Hey joe, maybe don’t act like a racist if you aren’t one? Don’t call the guy a “Japanese boy,” how about just leave that part out?

What’s up with old white guys- that whole generation can’t get over calling someone out by race!

Why do you always have to bring up trump, what’s wrong with you guys?  This is a Biden thread, yet you have to bring trump into every single thing?  I think you miss him!  There’s 58k posts in the trump thread, but that’s obviously not enough.  Any time anyone says anything on this forum, it’s “yeah but trump.” Get over it already, we’re in a new presidency now, and Biden is fair game.  That’s just how it is my man.

  • context matters. he was saying it as a compliment. no different than if he had said "canadian boy" or "american boy".

the right sure is reaching trying to show the supposed hypocrisy of the left.

It’s just weird as hell, at least to me.  He’s almost as cringy as trump was when he’s speaking.  At least we don’t have a firestorm of horrible tweets from Joe, but it’s no wonder at all that they keep a muzzle on him, he’s liable to say off color stuff at any moment

That’s a good thing, for sure.  But they’re definitely keeping a muzzle on him.  I mean the guy barely campaigned.

In other news I enjoy the golf references too- Biden is like 140 years old, he couldn’t play golf more than once a week even if he wanted to.  He’s old- that’s not his fault, but he has a tough time remembering how to dress himself let alone the number of shots it took him to get out of a trap.  Comparing Biden who can’t walk without assistance to trump who owns golf courses and likes to play at them is not comparable other than they were both presidents.

None of which has any impact on how President Biden runs the country. Most diverse cabinet ever. At least we’re not embarrassed every day by a white supremacist.

Reminder, this is the President Biden thread. Why are you bringing POOTWH into it? Can’t help yourself?

How do you know how he dresses himself?  Stop trying to make arguments based on stupid hyperbole, it insults thinking people’s intelligence and belongs on Breitbart.

can't walk without assistance? come on, now, you're just doing your best at trolling here. trump hasn't golfed without a cart since the 80's, if ever. biden routinely cycles and runs and the most movement trump does is his Double Hand Job Dance.

I would imagine it’s pretty frustrating to people like him that none of these tireless slanders seem to stick to Biden. They learned nothing from the last election. I guess that’s good news for the country though.

It takes a lot of effort to drive all the way around the green to the next tee box. A lot.

He shouldn’t even be driving a cart that close to the green let alone on it. It’s just a defining photo of a person who had never been told the word “no.” People like that turn out the worst.

I voted a joke write-in in 2020. But as an independent that leans more right, friends would ask me (especially as Trump was falling in polls), “Well why don’t ya vote for Trump?” To which I’d say “Because that’s exactly what he wants!” Guy gets everything he ever wants, including the presidency, and now he wants MY vote? A guy that drives golf carts on the green and wants to bang his daughter? I don’t need to own the libs THAT badly.

Hey joe, maybe don’t act like a racist if you aren’t one? Don’t call the guy a “Japanese boy,” how about just leave that part out?

What’s up with old white guys- that whole generation can’t get over calling someone out by race!

lol yeah ok did you already forget all the racist crap your orange hero said in his 4 years of ineptitude? Dude stop grasping at straws..
Fair game - presidents are regularly compared to their predecessors. If their predecessor did such a poor job that expectations are incredibly low for the new guy, it may not be convenient for your side that those actions and words won't be forgotten, but that's still how it is, and how it will be for every subsequent presidency.

Next, magnitudes matter. This is the 'tan suit' of racism accusations if I've ever seen one. Trump could make more racist statements in his sleep (and, I do wonder if he sleep-race-baits).

Next, context matters. Trump's regular racist outbursts and actions were egregious, regularly false and incriminating to the detriment of the targetted demographic, and varied enough that the white supremacy claims were rampant for a reason. Oppositely, outside of those YouTube comments, I've not seen anyone up in arms about this.

Finally, your credibility matters. You're a birdshit debater - you swoop in, shit on a conversation with a moderately relevant video or meme, rant a bit, and you're gone.

If you feel we're skewed in our perceptions, you have no idea what's felt about you.

Once again @benjs slams the door shut on someone.
But more importantly a new term has been entered into the colloquialism "birdshit debater".
     Perfectly defined and Perfectly used.
I will be adding this to my repertoire with proper credit given.

they aren't keeping a muzzle on him. he just doesn't desire the camera like trump did. that's not the presidential norm.

Comparing Biden who can’t walk without assistance to trump who owns golf courses and likes to play at them is not comparable other than they were both presidents.
can't walk without assistance? come on, now, you're just doing your best at trolling here. trump hasn't golfed without a cart since the 80's, if ever. biden routinely cycles and runs and the most movement trump does is his Double Hand Job Dance.
Trump, in perhaps his most egregious violation of social norms, drives his cart on the GREEN.

If near the end of my life the biggest complaint on a social norm someone had for me was how I drove a golf cart, I'd consider myself a pretty good person.
But I don't think that was his biggest infraction on social norms.
