    *** SOCIAL DEMOCRACY***

The United Nations World Happiness Report shows that the happiest nations are concentrated in social-democratic nations,[489] especially in Northern Europe, where the Nordic model is applied.[490] This is at times attributed to the success of the social-democratic Nordic model in the region, where similar democratic socialistlabourist and social-democratic parties dominated the region's political scene and laid the ground to their universal welfare states in the 20th century.[491] The Nordic countries, including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden as well as Greenland and the Faroe Islands, also ranks highest on the metrics of real GDP per capitaeconomic equalitypublic healthlife expectancyhaving someone to count on, perceived freedom to make life choicesgenerosityquality of life and human development while countries practicing a neoliberal form of government have registered relatively poorer results

Time to go. Infuse it into the party. Run on that platform.

I thought this was kinda funny and sadly true

What's the difference between capitalism and socialism?

Capitalism is the exploitation of man by man.

Socialism is the other way around.

And it’s a nail biter. Voting turnout was up because of trump not Biden or his policies.  Remove trump from the equation and turnout goes way down.  I’ve been told this election was a referendum on trump for two years.  Now here we are with less house seats and 3 million+ more Americans having voted trump than last time.  You can’t call this a referendum on trump and squeak out a victory and play like it was a great success.  It appears to be a very narrow win that will be heavily contested by millions of brain dead morons. Not what I would call a victory.  Record turnout existed to fire trump not because there was waves of enthusiasm for democrats one way or the other 2020 is and always has been the election to repudiate trump, and it is a very narrow victory

On reflection it’s not really the fault of Democrats.  It’s just white Americans.  We are pathetic as a whole.  A majority of white people voting for regressive policies is what keeps holding the country back. We white peoples need to do better.  I sure as fuck don’t know how, because trying to talk to the people that support these regressive policies and racism is like having a conversation with a fucking cat. White people need more empathy.

My cat is smarter than racist white people.  It’s true. Sorry.  Perhaps having a conversation with a rabid skunk may have been better although my sympathies would still lie with the skynk

Yeah I know.  That’s why I offered up the rabid skunk. But I really think it is insulting to the rabid skunk as well.  Talking to racist regressive white Americans is not like talking to anything. It’s just torture plain and simple.  It’s no use they don’t compromise they just stamp their feet and scream and Hollar until they get their way.

the issue for democrats is that the GOP has now become an interracial party.  The voting blocks of the past are changing, and one side is becoming a vacuum due to lots of talk and no action.  Heads turned the last few years and it'll be interesting as always to see how it changes going forward.  People are pro USA, not anti-USA.
    Oh yeah?

absolutely.  are you not watching this evening?  the race was USA vs. not.  People want success & safety VS danger and worry.  TONS of folks from socialist countries live here, they know what happened where they came from.
How many people were killed in riots?

How many people were killed by Covid?

Trump is the illusion of safety and security all the while being the grim reaper.  If people were really voting for the economy or security they would run far away from trump.
