Interestingly though, I read where EVH thinks he got his tongue cancer (which then spread to his esophagus) from holding metal guitar picks in his mouth over many, many years. Thanks for posting. I was lucky to be at both shows that they played this. Pure magic each time. I really love it when they play in Hartford, just pure fun every time.
For some of the younger generation who are not very familiar with Eddie's playing, here is a taste of his magical talent. He influenced the guitar world from 1978 to 2020.
The Van Halen logo was all over my Jr High school binders. I still remember the first time i saw the video for Jump at 12 years old. Became a fan immediately. Another legend gone.
