It's birds of a feather with her.  My crazy republican family members have been touting this stance for a while that a civil war is coming.
Because that's the fear narrative in the echo chamber.  Now which of these Rascal riding seniors is going to start the war?  Not a one of them.

Civil war and end times. I'm seeing that a lot on FB. Whenever a democrat is in the White House Jesus is just chomping at the bit to come back and annihilate us.

Definitely fear mongering but when you have people storming the Capital(s), governor's homes and taking out the substations, there are people whom are trying their very best.

Agreed on J6.  I think that was the organized militias chance to try something, they did, and they are paying for it.  I think the reaction of the media, the justice dept et all will server as a deterrent for anything public and open in the future.  The substation stuff just comes off as petty terrorism rather than something that starts a Civil War because the effects are indiscriminate.

I'll disagree on the substations.  The people whom wanted to take out Baltimore's power had a serious agenda.

I feel that the militias will have to reorganize better if they want to succeed.  When everywhere they post using messages is monitored they might think(hopefully) twice about doing stupid shit in the future.

This may seem like a silly question.. but with MTG's remarks on Dooshbag Carlson's show...

What does the GOP stand to gain by basically siding with Putin and acting like the dude didn't invade a country? And to be clear, when the leadership of the GOP does not immediately condemn what is being said .. that's what allows me in my opinion to lump the whole party together.

Is this just another case of 'We need to be against whatever it is our enemy (Biden and the Dems) are for?'

I think it is. The attacks against our support are bizarre. MTG is now introducing a bill to audit the Ukraine funds....not necessarily a horrible idea but shouldn't that be more of a committee hearing? Why introduce a bill that has no chance of passing?

This is pretty much their entire persona. How often to you hear a republican actually say anything that would indicate they care about what happens to the country or its people? It's all outrage and vilification of domestic enemies. And the few that challenge it get run out of the party.

Trump revealed the the republican party wants a corrupt autocracy, which is what Russia is. This reveals itself with policies dressed up as something else to make them more appealing. In this case they are framing wanting to cut off financial support to Ukraine as being fiscally responsible. They’ll support right wing fascist groups in the US by claiming they’re the party of free speech

I suppose head to head shows that magas will maga no matter who else is running, but in reality there’s going to be 8-10 candidates in the mix that will take away from DeSantis.

My point was that the terrorism is indiscriminate and not effective for "revolution" because you negatively impact a part of the population that you need to "rise up".

also they hold orban in high regard, so that is just another example to add to the fact that gop wants a strong willed government daddy instead of the individual freedumb they have been going on about for decades.

People don't realize how dangerous Orban is.  He would leave the EU tomorrow if he wasn't worried about it killing his support in Hungary.

What I worry about is if Ukraine falls,  then Moldova goes immediately.  Then Hungary could exit the EU and join Russia.  Then Serbia will 100% move against Kosova and now the Balkans are destabilized and you have a unified East.  Next is Belarus and Russia going back after the Baltic states.

You want to worry about WW3, that's how it happens.

Just another example of misunderstood buzzwords. "Freedom." LOL. They thirst for authoritarianism. Hungary may very well be the model...
